Best WLM Reviews
Allegro Pediatrics at Bothell is a very good Medical care center. Their Electronic Health Record allows instant and secure access to our child’s health information. Their online Patient Portal gives us the ability to request an appointment, message the care team and pay our bill. Special one-on-one visits focused on specific concerns about your child’s development or behavioral health is there. They have On-site lab and x-ray services. You can have quick visits to get flu shots and vaccines. You can approach them 24/7 and they are serving with Commitment and excellent services. The staffs are very good. It’s a clean place . They are following the Covid-19’s rules and regulations.
I couldn’t be more grateful for finding Dr. Stein. She is a professional, sweet, and caring human being. She knows how to calm new parents and is always so patient with us. We appreciate her immensely and are so thankful to have her as our baby girl care provider.
If we had another option we wouldn’t use them, this is us waiting to get my 2 year old a vaccine with my pregnant wife who has to deliver our newborn in 2 days. This is an appointment too, to give a 2 year old their vaccine.
After my twelve-year-old daughter’s wellness checkup at Allegro Pediatrics, I was surprised to see a charge of $72.34 on their website. I had assumed that the cost of the wellness checkup would be fully covered by insurance. Confused, I contacted Allegro’s billing department to inquire about the charge.
They explained that the additional cost was due to a question I had asked at the end of the checkup. During the appointment, I had inquired about improving my daughter’s mild acne. The doctor provided a brief answer and gave me a handout with recommended over-the-counter products. The entire interaction took only a minute.
I expressed my dissatisfaction with the billing representative, stating that charging $72 for such a quick question seemed unreasonable. I requested an email detailing the charges so I could write a review about the exorbitant cost. Unfortunately, the billing representative refused my request, deeming it unreasonable, and abruptly hung up.
As a result, I caution others to be wary when asking questions during wellness checkups at Allegro Pediatrics. While routine well care check-ups are typically covered by insurance, additional evaluation or management may incur unexpected fees. Transparency and communication regarding charges are essential to maintaining trust between patients and healthcare providers.
The online reviews seem to be great, had a good experience with the first appointment for our newborn (less than a week old). The NP asked to book a follow up and we did that on site the same day. On reaching the facility for the next appointment, we were denied the visit an for a newborn! I had called in advance on the allegro customer care to confirm the appointment since we did not receive the checkin message. The support team confirmed an appointment on file and asked us to check at the reception.
Extremely frustrating experience on the management's end.
The two positives- The experience with NP was good for the first appointment, and we got a call later from the nurse suggesting to go to urgent care if something is concerning after getting sent away for the second appointment.
Things I love : Has amazing doctors. Good website and interface for booking ,requesting documents, educational resources. Easy to get a nurse practitioner even during weekends for quick questions. They follow up after phone calls/ hospital visits to ensure everything is right.Available at Evergreen hospital for first pediatric visit.
Can Improve : It's hard to get that first appointment over phone , but they do provide quick appointments for newborns .
Do your research and find out the pediatrician that works best for you, also it's very easy to change providers . We've been seen by Dr.Reuter and Dr.Altomare and I really like them both very knowledgeable and empathetic.
We have been loyal patients of Allegro for the past seven years, consistently traveling 30 miles for each appointment. Unfortunately, during a recent visit for a vaccination, we arrived 11 minutes late due to unforeseen accidents on I-5. Despite explaining our situation, the front office staff refused to let us in and insisted that we reschedule for the following week. I requested that they check with the nurses to see if any slots were available due to the difficulty of our journey, but they declined to make any accommodations. This lack of flexibility and the dismissive attitude we encountered left us feeling unappreciated and unwelcome. Given this experience, we are now considering finding a new pediatrician.
Everything was going great until my son had to get his shots and the guy doing it, seem like he wanted to be done with it & rush his shots he kinda seem rough. Not much of a nice experience for my 3 day newborn.
