Pistachios and potatoes on pizza, who would've thought! We tried the wine and pizza specials during our visit and were pleasantly surprised by both. Sitting outside in the warm summer air was lovely and we enjoyed looking at the garden by the patio and seeing all of the vegetables and flowers growing. The soft serve was rich and creamy and I loved that the chocolate was dark and not too sweet. The staff was also very friendly and personable. Would absolutely come again!
Excellent food, great service and fantastic place for families. Pizzas were outstanding, appetizers yummy, borsh out of this world. Highly recommend
I really liked this place it gets busy on Sundays so come early if you are hungry and need a big Pizza as they can occasionally run out. Great beer selection and a wonderful outdoor patio set up!
Was able to try their soft serve the other day and was pleasantly surprised. At seven dollars, eight dollars with tip. It was pretty pricey, but it tasted delicious. Their pizza is still a solid choice for the area. Absolutely love the outside seating for the warm season.
The pizza itself is delicious. I like that. It’s thin crust and has a diverse array of toppings. Of course they highlight a bunch of local stuff and quirky things. The more unique, the more you are going to pay. They do give a good amount of toppings and the sauce is delicious. One pizza is pretty good to share, but it’s not a ton of food.
The service is decent. The price is pretty crazy for what you get, but that’s Asheville. Especially in a trendy location. I also like that they have beer and wine on the menu. And it’s pretty walkable to the River arts district.
We love All Souls Pizza. Location is great and we are loving the new covered area outdoor especially when it started raining after we sat down! We had Sausage and Kale Pizza and Arugula salad with pumpkin. Everything is great though the wait was longer than usual but they informed us ahead of time. Pizza has a great texture and flavor and salad is so simple and fresh.
Delicious wood fired pizza, several vegetarian and meat selections. Creative toppings without being over the top, so to speak. . Several beers available, along with local soda, coffee, and kombucha.
The restaurant is sparse, but very serviceable. The outdoor picnic tables and lawn area are fun, a different option if you are there with a group of friends or family.
First let me say that the soft serve ice cream was quite good and probably the secret strength of this place. The appetizers, while expensive for what they are, were also quite good. If you visit in the near future, I recommend the peaches.
Unfortunately, this is a high-end pizza place. The pizza was fired well, but the sauce was weak, the dough tasted like a bland cracker, and the topping distribution was laughable. A third of the pizza had none of the toppings, while the rest was packed with toppings. That was a detail that really surprised me.
The wine selection was good. It’s always nice to see selections from the Occhipintis. The beer selection was uninspired and the price structure was weirdly flat.
The service was poor and it was strangely difficult to place an order despite how many employees were standing around. They have a pretty nice patio and getting your own water is easy.
I wasn’t bothered by it, but I’m sure others will want to know that they add a 4% charge on that they say goes to the kitchen staff.
There is better pizza in Asheville and there are generally so many good places to eat that I’d recommend checking out somewhere else.
You can get pretty good pizza in all of Asheville and this place for sure has it. BUT what makes All Souls stand out is their other items on the menu, specifically the fact that they have soft serve ice cream that’s pretty damn good. And you can get it with sprinkles
•lots of outdoor seating that’s in a cozy, warmly lit area
•a garden. An actual garden for their ingredients
•great beer on tap
•their appetizer with the chickpeas is amazing
