Best WLM Reviews

My wife and I visited today for the first time, and we were thoroughly impressed. The ambiance had a comfortable hybrid steakhouse-sportbar vibe to it which was very unique.
A lively bar with no shortage of screens on one side a relaxed atmosphere that made for an enjoyable dining experience on the other side (and yes... also had smaller but equally impressive number of screens). The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing.
We started with some appetizers (you gotta try the sweet & Spicy Wings). It set the tone for what would be a fantastic meal. Everything was perfectly cooked to our liking, tender, and full of flavor. The sides complemented the meal well. **WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THE ROLLS & THAT BUTTERRRR!!! ** (You'll lose yourself in it and start making choices you'll question later ????)
The menu offers a great variety, so whether you’re in the mood for a hearty steak or other American classics, there's something for everyone. Portion sizes were super generous, making the meal feel like a great value. Let me out it this way, my wife was only able to eat about a third of her plate and I was able to crush half of mine. Our to-go boxes looked like we ordered "take-out" instead of leftovers.
We can easily say this won't be our last visit—highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch relaxing/fun combo spot in the Waldorf area.
This place is a good old faithful. You can never go wrong with the grilled chicken variations they are all flavorful and the mushrooms and broccoli and rice pilaf are all tasty as well. The service i receive varies when I go but the last young lady that served my husband and I was wonderful! I drink a lot of tea or lemonade when I go and the refills were flowing properly. I never made it to the bottom of one cup before she brought another. This is not a Michelin restaurant of course but I would choose this place over most chain restaurants if I want to go to get a tasty no frills meal.
I have been here plenty of times but this experience was the far worse experience I had… To start we waited a hr for food and it wasn’t even full but once we got our food we never received any utensils.. I had to wait 10 with my food sitting on the table to finally get a fork. So now my food is cold. My burger was dry not medium well more burnt than anything. My aunt steak was well cook she asked medium well too… We waiting another 20 minutes for the waiter to come back around to explain everything that was wrong and asked for a manager, the OWNER comes around and wasn’t going stop at our table we had to stop her.. She then approached us by saying “What’s up?” . If this how you treat your customers now I know why the waiter treated us the way he did.. After explaining to her what happened all she said I have a new cook. Not how can I fix this. We didn’t eat our food but still had to wait 40 minutes for a bill that another server went to get us because she saw us waiting.. I will not be returning EVER..
Upon entering I smelled a damp musty odor which permeated throughout. The food was mediocre and service was acceptable. I ordered chicken and shrimp fajita. The veggies were minimal and all combined ingredients were bland. My husband ordered the teriyaki salmon which was delicious but they were holding back on the fries. With beer and a glass of Chardonnay the bill was $86, not worth it.
So I've driven by this establishment for many years and never knew what I was missing. So my family and I were having a gathering of 20 members on short notice. The restaurant was first of all very accommodating to the short notice request. First my wife ordered the steak and since she allowed me a small bite as someone who isn't a lover of steak I was incredibly surprised at the tenderness and flavor of my wife's steak. I on the other hand ordered the ribs and as my main dish and was very happy with my choice. My broccoli was streamed just right and my fries were great as well. Our server Justice was absolutely great even with a party of our size. I would not hesitate to return again and maybe try the steak myself! Definitely a great visit.
The bad: I am being critical because I'm a bit of a freshness snob but I felt that the wings tasted old. It was very slight but a few of the wings tasted a bit off. Tried to take the leftovers for lunch the next day and they didn't taste good at all and subsequently went in the trash.
The good: Overall I like this place. Great service. Good bar area happy hour specials on food and drinks. I ordered a blue moon and wings. The blue moon hit the spot as it often does and the wings had good flavor to the sauce and were prepared well.
My wife and I stopped here to grab food after an NFL game on our way to visit some family while in the area. The waitress was on it and knew her stuff about the menus and cuts of steak. The food was out of this world, hands down the best meal we’ve eaten out in years. We sat in the bar area while the afternoon games played, and for two adults who were just at a game, the atmosphere was like overtime!! I highly recommend eating at this establishment versus any main stream franchise out there. You will not be disappointed. Two thumbs up and left a 35% tip, which for me personally, is almost unheard of.
Place was clean, waiter was really nice and took great care of us. Food was on point. Tried the salmon for the first time here and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Will definitely return.
