Friendly staff, friendly atmosphere, and friendly customers. Food is very simple and good, with good serving sizes.
We have a family tradition of finding the mom and pop shops of hotdogs. We don't look for fancy or gimmicky (though sometimes fun too).
If you are looking for some decent dogs and some Americana, you want to visit this place.
I love this place. It's a Jacksonville landmark & It's been here longer than I have. When I want a quick cheap lunch I get the footlong chili cheese dog to go. The pitas & phillys are also good. Their buns are awesome, baked fresh, and I like the cafeteria fries too. Good service, good food, 70's retro flair, fairly priced.
Their burgers are well made. I got the chicago dog and it was very good! The steak in a sack was jam packed with meat. Great prices and the staff were all friendly.
I love this place. I've been eating here at least once a week for 30 plus years. Wonderful family. Never ever been disappointed. I recommend anything on the menu.
Young lady was running the drive thru and front register alone handling things. She was friendly and attentive. Chilli dog bun was toasted with cheese sitting under it like a baby. The dog melted in my mouth driving taste buds crazy. Good place to go. They do breakfast also
Best Steak Subs in the business. I love this place discovered it a month ago and have been here twice a week since. They are very passionate about serving great food and it Shows!
This restaurant gives the mom & pop feel. Everyone here was very friendly and welcoming. The prices are decent and the food is good. My husband had the philly, he loved it. I went with the ham and cheese which I enjoyed. The fries they use are top tier, we just wish they were salted.
