This was our 1st visit, on the 3rd December. My husband loves Southern type of food, so he really enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger. I ordered 2 catfish fillets with spinach and corn as my sides. The spinach was a little salty for me. Paid a total of about $20 for the food. Very friendly and efficient staff. Enjoy the hospitable atmosphere. We will come again. I wouldn't order the spinach. The saltiness could just be perfect for other customers. I will try different sides.
I didn't take a picture of the menu to show what the full order was. Nonetheless, I ordered the roast. It comes with salad and mash potatoes toast and a side of your choice. I ordered okra. Okra was fine. Roast seemed to be cooked meat only with gel like brown gravy served. No toast was received. Had to request the salad. Side note salad was good. The bowl is small, so I couldn't mix it to my desire without worries of losing it. But by far, the best thing on the table. The mash potatoes I had to request from the waitress. Came with that same gel like brown gravy. Declined to eat most of it. Went to pay with $50 for my $12ish meal, and the cashier kept $30. I had to walk back in to request my correct change.
This place is awesome! Breakfast is amazing’. They always have several specials to choose from. I ordered the meat lovers omelette! Grilled biscuits are a must here!
Food was top notch. Dinner roll hot and perfect. Their daily specials are definitely worth it.
Pros

Cons:
1. Signage outside is worn and easy to miss from road
2. Signage for entrance and exit non existent
3. Soft drinks get only one free refill
4. Tabletop is full of ads. Very distracting
5. Food, though large, was somewhat bland
6. Parking lot small / cramped
7. Regulars seemingly may get more robust attention. Waited a good while for drink refills.
Final Thoughts:
This seemed to be a great spot for seniors since that was the largest amount of clients there. Has an older feel to it which is all nice. The food and inconsistent service is the problem here. I would avoid this location myself.
This was our very first time here & the food was so good! Our waitress was super nice! I don't have not 1 complaint at this place. I think this may be our NEW go too place for some good breakfast????
Mediocre & Over Priced
Ordered 1 egg breakfast and 2 egg breakfast. Both plates came out fast.
Food was so bland.
Eggs were dry and crumbled.
All 6 pieces of Bacon we're cooked inconsistently.
Biscuits were dry.
Service was awful. Our waitress acted like everything was an inconvenience.
If you're looking for good diner food on a budget look elsewhere. If you're looking for over priced breakfast food this is your place.
Our server was incredible!!! She was amazing!! The food was okay and the atmosphere needs serious updating. But, you can't beat our server, I wish I'd got her name.
