I know my review math doesn’t make sense but I think their strengths were great enough to balance out what was mediocre about the place.
Outside of the Onion Rings (which are pretty dang good, I was very surprised with diner onion rings being that fresh and “tasty”), the rest of the food was very “fine”. Nothing was specifically wrong or bad about the food, it was just overall kinda of “meh”.
However, the service was OUTSTANDING. Seated quickly and water brought out. The waitress was extremely friendly and interactive with us. Gave us recommendations and suggestions. Everyone else in the place was also super nice and friendly.
It’s a nice meal in a local restaurant. Try it at least once. Heck, I’d go again.
I met family there for a late breakfast. They serve breakfast all day which is my favorite meal. I ordered a stack of pancakes with two eggs. It was way more than I could eat. The waitress was very friendly and the cost was reasonable. I would eat there again.
Always a blast eating at this dinner. Here I am 5 years later coming back for that crazy good ulti meat omelette. This place always gives amazing food and I will always eat here when I am in town. Go visit them and you will understand what I am talking about. Keep doing an amazing job and I will be back next time I visit Cedar City
We stopped at that diner on our way to Zion National Park. It was a nice place with a lot of locals. The pancakes were amazing, and the portions were huge.
This was our first time trying this place, and I honestly have to say that it's one of my favorite places to eat now! The service is fantastic! It's like going back in time twenty to thirty years.
We went on a Saturday night. It was really busy, so we had to wait just a few minutes to be seated, but they got us to a table quicker than I expected.
Despite how busy they were, it didn't feel busy. The waitresses were amazing at keeping cool and calm. They never acted hurried or stressed. Every single one of them looked you right in the eye with a genuine smile. I'm so used to going to places where the servers act like they're at work and are tired of being there. This diner wasn't that--they acted like they enjoyed what they were doing.
With all of that going on, it was still a quiet and relaxed dinner. Once we were seated, it didn't feel packed at all.
I'm also very impressed with how efficient everybody there was. There were never empty tables piled up with dirty dishes. They cleaned everything up quickly. Yet you never felt rushed. They encouraged diners to take their time.
On top of it, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We'll be going back whenever we visit Cedar City again!
AMAZING! The service was excellent and the food was perfect. Best burger I’ve ever had. And the biscuits and gravy were amazing as well. The time from when we got to the restaurant and had the food on our table was only about 10 minutes. Our server Elsa was very friendly and provided excellent service. The restaurant environment felt like a classic dinner from the 50s. I would strongly recommend trying this place. The price of the food was perfect. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in Cedar.

Stopped in for dinner, what stood out was the excellent prices, good portions, very fast service, super clean and Very attentive waitstaff. Only con was it was super hot in there. Maybe the ac was broke? But they got us in and out so quickly it wasn't a big deal. They did have fans all over. Food was soooo good. Hubby said his burger was perfect...my philly steak sandwich was yummy!!! I even heard the people in the next booth say their club sandwich was the best they ever had. Keep up the good work!! We'll be back!
