Alaskan cod was delicious! The calm strips were mostly batter. And the scallops were small, but good. Didn’t have fries as a lot of reviews complained about the fries being too oily or burnt. Would definitely come back for the cod! Definitely recommend!
First timer here and probably won't be last. It was easy to order as you just walk up to the counter and place your order there. Had the special and prawns and chips! Prawns were amazing! Love the crispiness on both fish and prawns. This place was packed when we came in and people just kept coming in! They also have upstairs sitting if downstairs is full. You can also have it to go and eat it by the beach (saw many people did this). Great service too! Ordered the food with sprite and somehow the sprite did not taste like sprite. They almost immediately fix the issue and replaced the drink. Great food, great service, more affordable than other places!
Excellent fish and chips in the Seattle area. I was a bit apprehensive given the location and the menu but I was so wrong. They have option of just the fish or with fries. I tried the fried cod , the prawn palette and the halibut . Every single item in their menu was excellently seasoned and fried perfectly and their Tartar sauce with chopped celery was just perfect.Their candy cane shake is quite a roar. Would recommend to anyone visiting Alki beach, give this spot a try
We ordered the 3 pcs Halibut and 3 pcs Cod plate. The fish was tender and meaty. Yhe batter wasnt over powering in was flaky and tasted amazing. The atmosphere was very good nice and inviting. I also forgot about the shrimp cocktail. I guess it was great because my Man smashed it.. lol
Breaded not battered fish... eternal debate. If I could only have one, it'd be battered, like those lovely cutlets the Nosh food truck used to put out. But sometimes, a craving hits and I need an new school piece of breaded delight. Spud delivers! The menu says they do other seafood things, but I've never gone down that road. Excellent fries as well!
My boyfriend doesn’t like fish in general but he reaaaally loved the fish and chips here! The clam chowder is amazing as well- so rich. We also got a caramel milk shake which really helped put everything together ????
The food was fresh and hot! You definitely get a lot of food for the price. It is rather expensive, but like I mentioned, the portions are huge. Loved people watching while enjoying a meal. Enjoyed the view of the beach also.
I'd definitely go back when I'm in town again.
This is a historic place situated right by the Alki beach. It has its own parking lot which is really helpful in this busy area. It has seating at ground and 1st floor. The menu is really simple and fresh. It feels like a little museum with all the framed photos on the walls showcasing and talking about this establishment’s history. We got halibut, chips, prawns and a green river soda drink. The fish was so fresh and flaky. The prawns were jumbo sized and oozing with salty flavor. The fries were soft and a little soggy but were delicious. The green river soda was a pleasant surprise. It was lemony and refreshing. Must try place.
