The fish ???? was fresh and the waitress assured me it was ocean caught as opposed to farm raised ???? the salad ???? was good I got the fattoosh and it was huge. I hope they start offering a wider variety of fish. They had around 5 different types when I went but would like to see more types offered in the future. I got the red mullet and since they are small the entree had 4 pieces which was more than enough to fill me up. The chef did an amazing job and everything was cooked to perfection. The rice was good too.
We tried the fish casserole, Provençal grilled golden pomfret, two fish skewers, and a shrimp skewer platter. All the dishes were incredibly fresh, delicious, and generously portioned, although a bit pricey. However, I would urge the owner to train their server better—they seemed inexperienced, unaware of the fish types and ingredients, which is concerning as I have fish allergies. Additionally, our server was rushing us to pay because we were ten minutes past closing time, even though we hadn't finished eating. I’ll definitely return for the food but will be more cautious about the service next time.
As someone from the East Coast, I'm incredibly picky about seafood, insisting on only the freshest fish without any fishy taste. In the Midwest, I've often found seafood lacking in freshness despite restaurants' reassurances, but Aliz’s Seafood House is a remarkable exception.
The quality of the fish here knocked my socks off. I was initially intimidated by the prospect of being served a whole fish to pick apart, rather than a skinned and deboned fillet. However, this wasn't an issue at all, and the experience was superb from start to finish.
We began with appetizers: grilled eggplant and tabbouleh. The eggplant was flavorful, and the tabbouleh impressed me with its minimal use of bulgur wheat. Unlike many eateries that use wheat as filler, this tabbouleh was chock-full of fresh parsley and tomatoes – truly delicious.
For our main courses, we had the deep-fried sea bream and the grilled golden pomfret in a spicy sauce (which we requested at a high spice level). Both dishes were fantastic.
The freshness of the seafood, the quality of the preparation, and the excellent service all contribute to my highest recommendation for Aliz’s Seafood House. It's a standout dining experience that even the most discerning seafood lover will appreciate.
We had the fish skewers Provençale and the red snapper with the same seasoning. The fish was so so good. The salad was just as good with fresh lettuce, cucumbers, and radishes. The owner and woman who served us were very kind. Thank you for the delicious food and lovely service.
Listen, my friends and I stumbled across this place our first time in Dearborn, and this time we made a detour on our way to a concert in Sterling. This place is phenomenal- food well seasoned, presentation is beautiful, and service wonderful. Can't wait to visit again!
Aliz Restaurant in the Dearborn area is known for its outstanding seafood and exceptional service. I highly recommend trying their new dish, Farooj. Treat yourself to a wonderful dining experience at Aliz today!

After an almost 5 star review.
Went back twice and have been disappointed every time!
Just got a to go order and the waitress lied to my elderly mother and charged us without putting the food in the bag.
The time before that we sat down and had terrible service with our of town visitors and didn’t receive all of our food.
They went 1 for 3 and won’t see me, ever again, I take back my recommendation!!
Great and fresh food. The food and atmosphere is really nice. The only thing is the wait time for the food, it took way too long. But besides that, great place to eat seafood.
