Best WLM Reviews
Great place for seafood. I got a really tasty fried haddock sandwich, with perfectly light but crunchy batter. The restaurant is really big -- we ate on the 2nd floor, which has a nice view of the town square. Service was very friendly. We'd come here again!
Phenomenal place, we went for a dinner here and everything was perfect!
Starting with service Christopher was really good, he explained everything that we asked very good and he was present!
Food is amazing, appetizers stuffed mushrooms and Mussels, kussels are amazing and it is big size for sharing!
Mains are also good size and taste really good, seafood risotto is soo good, I can say the best that I ever tried! Plenty of seafood, way more that I expected that I am gonna get. Fried fish comes like more pieces but also good size!
Beer selection big enough for everyone to find something good and everything about them is explained very well!
Definitely recommend this place !!
Ate here on a trip with my wife and it was pretty good all around. I got the lobster roll and it was good but a bit (or a lot) bland. She got clam chowder and the sirloin steak dish. The chowder was watery and mediocre but the steak and accompanying sides were amazing. The service and ambiance were really great but compared to all the other places that offer lobster and clam chowder around here this one was not the best. The steak was really good.
It was jam packed because we went during Christmas Prelude weekend, and yet, the staff remained super nice and friendly during the rush hour! Really liked their Peppermint Espresso Martini, lobster roll and chowders.
We went as a group of 10 for a family birthday dinner on a Friday night. They told us 45min when we checked in and texted us less than 30min later. All the staff were nice and service was great. Good selection of seafood and non-seafood options. The lobster bisque poutine was a winner as was the lobster mac and cheese. Great beer selection on tap - 26 rotating beers, a lot from Maine and some from great breweries in other states. Parking can be tricky. There is a pay lot entrance right beside the restaurant and there are other pay and free options within a short walking distance.
This is a hard review to nail. Sometimes you’ll walk in and get seated immediately and the next time it’s an hour wait. Usually seated upstairs which has a nice view and is open and airy and the staff is super careful to make sure you don’t trip on a couple tricky steps. Food prices are average for Kennebunkport. Service can be hit and miss. We’ve had some incredible wait staff and some you barely saw after taking your order. The food is the same. I’ve eaten ALOT of lobster rolls and these fall just below mediocre served cold with mayo and extra spices. Not my cup of tea. Have had much better even from food trucks. At least offer warm with butter. The chowder is fairly good but I’m not inclined to think it’s homemade and is 75% of the time served room temperature. The black bean burger is the “worst I’ve ever tried” in the words of my vegetarian friend and it looked and tasted every bit true. The summer salad however is an absolute gem and with coming for in itself. In fact during the fall visit it’s sadly (and not surprisingly) not on the menu. One sign of class is that they are a Coca Cola purveyor so there’s that.
So I think I’m being generous in my review. I want to like the place. Occasionally I do, especially when the salad is on menu. Just don’t expect to be treated special or be overly thrilled by the other items on the menu. It is a warm spot indoors in the fall and cool in the summer but your mileage may vary.
We came for lunch on a weekday. We got right in and had a lovely upstairs window table with a nice view of downtown. My salad was super good. I loved that it came with bread, too. My boyfriend tried lobster for the first time ever at this restaurant and said it was very good. Great service, too. Our waitress was incredible!
Another local gem that shouldn't be missed! Food is typical but a cut above for shear deliciousness. Limited seating and very busy so reserve your spot ahead and enjoy the shops near by till your text to come back. Staff was so polite and treat you like a local and welcome you in.
