Best WLM Reviews

When we got here itcwad about 4 pm. It was slow, but all the tables upon entering were dirty. We sat at a dirty table where they quickly picked up in front of us. Place is a bit old and outdated, the food was great. They didn't offer refills on the coffee, wasn't to thrilled about service.
First time here. It was kind of slow when we got there, so service wasn't an issue. This place has daily lunch specials. I decided to order the Chicken Sombrero, which came with refried beans, spanish rice, & salad. The chicken was cooked with grilled onions, bell peppers, & topped with mozzarella cheese. The American Cheese Enchiladas came with refried beans & spanish rice. Both plates were of good portion size & full of flavor. FYI, this place serves breakfast all day.
Hello,I was feeling a little under the weather and decided that a warm caldo would help. After calling several places I saw Alicia's Restaurant,I read there reviews and decided to try them.I ordered a Caldo de res and waiter actually was kind enough to do curve side ???? pick up for my Wife. Having a Mom from Veracruz (Chacaltiangis Ver).I know what real Mex Food taste like,I believe growing up with her cooking qualifies me to do reviews on Tex-Mex restaurants.Believe me when I say there Caldo de res is one of the best in our 956,McAllen area.Ive tried several places and Alicia's Restaurant, for sure is on the top 2(#1 Mom's) there price was more than reasonable for hardworking people compare to other restaurants. Thanks for your great foods, prices, and awesome Customer Service. May the Lords blessings be with you and your business, workers & families ????.

This location is definitely the most amazing restaurant I've ever been in. It is so cheap and really amazing quality. The sincronizada is HUGE! but really well seasoned. The enchiladas that my partner got he stated everything is super well balanced and portioned. The lemonade we got was definitely tasty. Not too sweet and not too bitter. The sweet tea is perfect as well! The waitress is super nice and very attentive. 10/10!
First time here...
What started as a $7 plate... ended up at $13. The food was plenty & had good flavor. Was surprised a regular cup of coffee was $3. This has been the only business that I've been to... that charged a fee for using a debit card.
It was very cold inside (66°F). Waitress was very attentive... considering she had customers all over the dining room. Not sure why they don't assign sections so the waitstaff won't be running back & forth.
Stopped by for the 1st time today. The young lady who helped us was very friendly and provided excellent service. My wife ordered the texmex enchiladas. She loved them. I ordered the 14 inch fajita burrito. This thing was enormous and it was loaded with fajitas. I was astounded as to how much meat it had. Very tasty. The complimentary chips and salsa were also very good. We also ordered a half dozen pork tamales and they were the only thing that was disappointing. They didn't taste fresh at all and we're were cool to the touch.
the potatoes were cold… the pork chops were not well done and had no flavor whatsoever… the tbone had no flavor was dry… the flour tortillas were dark and crunchy as if they have been reheated more than several times… the corn tortillas were not cooked fully cause they were breaking in half… the staff was too busy talking instead of helping the customers. Just be careful cause we aren’t going every again.
Just stopped in for Tamales. They were so good. Salsa Verde was awesome. I would be a big fat guy if I lived anywhere near here. Service was great on a to go order. Cannot say enough.
