If you’re looking for true authentic Salvadoran food, this place is a hidden gem! The Pollo con Tajadas is absolutely delicious—100% one of my favorites. I crave it all the time! Every bite is packed with flavor, and the portions are generous. This is hands down one of the only Salvadoran restaurants I truly love in the Houston/Katy area. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff always makes you feel right at home. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out on a real taste of El Salvador!
I was searching a place near me to eat breakfast and I have to say I loved today’s experience at Alicia’s Bakery. My waitress name was Daniela and she was very welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious, 10/10 on taste. I had the house special breakfast and a coffee with milk. I’m not Salvadorian but this food was DELICIOUS. I have to also mention the peaceful vibe with the music they where playing. I would definitely recommend this place????
Very friendly and welcoming service. The pupusas are good and I love that they give you plenty of sauce and curtido. Other places are stingy but not here!
We tried their pupusas, flautas and plantain empanadas.
We will definitely come back :)
Great, affordable Salvadorean food, the Pupusas are awesome, the Atol de Elote is the best in the Houston, Katy area and the Panes con Pollo are big and tasty. No complaints from me or anyone in my family.
The food didn’t taste like authentic Salvadoran cuisine, and I had a disappointing experience. The refried beans had an unusual flavor, and the quality was lacking. Unfortunately, this place doesn’t seem to offer genuine Salvadoran food
What a nice place to eat great central American food! Very clean and organized place, waiting staff is kind and polite, served our food just great. Alicia’s has a great variety of Salvadorian and Honduran dishes, from comfort, like pupusas and chicken tamales, to seafood. This place is also a bakery, the variety they have are Salvadoran sweet breads and custom cakes for any special occasions. Speaking of cakes, their dessert menu includes delicious slices of tiramisu cake, which was the one I personally had and loved. I highly recommend their camarones al ajillo (shrimp seasoned with garlic) and their mariscada “Tamarindo” (seafood soup). Although far from where I live, I’m definitely coming back!
Horrible flavor I order chicharron con queso and tastes like chicken and cheese ???? (pork and cheese taste like chicken I give them zero start unless you never try the real Salvadorian food if you really wants to taste a pupusas go to guanacos restaurant
Delicious food and the young lady at the restaurant was the sweetest. Also had their bread and it was fresh.
