My father-in-law took my daughter and I to dinner here and it was absolutely amazing! I was very pleasantly surprised with a generous cut of country fried steak accompanied by homemade mashed potatoes and unbelievably seasoned delicious green beans! All of the food had been freshly made, not frozen, you could just tell by the appearance, taste and presentation! That's not common these days in family style restaurants. I will definitely be back to sample more of their menu!
Very busy on a Sunday! Service was very slow for breakfast.
Food was very good, but lukewarm, however. Hubby had the sampler, which was good. I had the crabcake and egg platter. Crabcake had some filler but was very tasty! Homefries were good and had onions!
We will probably give this place another try and hope the service is faster next time.
Dinner @ Alice's tonight. Crabcake Special tonight. I'd put this crabcake up against any in the Baltimore area. Huge portion of Lump Crabmeat. No filler. Broiled with a side of baked potato... Yummy! Top it off with hot apple pie and a scoop of ice cream. Our waitress, Tina was excellent. Brewed me fresh coffee. Dining room is quaint A sit down bar is available also. About 5 TV's with a huge one overtop the fireplace. We'll be back soon ????????
We were visiting friends in Baltimore, and they suggested Alice's. The food was excellent.
My crab fluff was prepared and cooked correctly, not being too doughy. The French Onion soup is the best I have had in a long time. My husband said the crabcake was over the top!
Ordered liver and onions, and it was supposed to be baby beef liver. Everyone knows that baby beef is very tender. But this liver was so chewy and hard and rubbery. I have never gotten liver before that taste like this one didalso the mash potatoes taste like they was sitting for along while. But I'm not going to knock on this place, because I ordered more things with this and it was all great. *****
Every time we’ve come here the service and food have been terrific. My dad frequents here so my friends and I decided to meet him for dinner. Our server Katt was quick, kind, and funny. The orange creamsicle crushes were like milkshakes. Super filling but definitely buzzed after one.
After many months of driving right by this local gem we finally decided to give it a try a few months ago. We could go on and on about everything we've experienced here from the food, friendly attentive service, overall atmosphere and superior cleanliness. It's absolutely perfect in all ways. The food is obviously freshly prepared daily with much love and attention to detail as EVERYTHING we've had from breakfast to lunch has been worthy of much high praise. It's a absolute go to every single time we're here in the area. Bravo Zulu!!❤️????????
Service was excellent, food was good. I got the Crab cake with sweet potato fries which were both delicious but the mashed potatoes were really bland, even with the gravy.
