Food review:
- hummus was really creamy which was unusual for me. Im glad i gave it a shot because it was the best thing about the meal. So yummy and fresh.
- pita bread was not good. Hard, stiff, no flavor. I would get pita elsewhere to dip in the hummus.
- got the chicken and lamb shawarma. The chicken was dry but the lamb was really good. Order the lamb.
- rice was delicious.
- comes with sides of grilled tomato (half-warm) and “salad” which is easily forgettable.
I would come back here to try other lamb dishes and get some different sides.
we love this place! great prices and the food is always fresh and delicious. we always get the large mix appetizer and the family grill platter. easily enough to feed 6+ people and left overs. the lamb is grilled to perfection. so good!!! our server, Hamza was very nice and attentive. one of my favorite memphis restaurants!
Excellent Service, Food was great. Falafel, Baba Ganoush, Chicken Kifta, Tavook all are well prepared. They should improve lighting and seating, overall ambiance needs big face lift, if they want to extend their business to everyone. We needed to ask them to re clean our table because of the strains on the table. However, the service was far exceeded our expectations. They treat you well. Somehow they even offered us their dessert while we are above to leave. Food is delicious, must try if you are craving for mediterranean in Memphis
This is my first time trying Ali Baba Mediterranean Grill. We ordered two chicken Sharma sandwiches and we were so happy. They are huge. The sandwiches come with a little salad and a small side of garlic yogurt sauce. I wish we would've gotten a little more!

Hands down this is the best Mediterranean food that I've had in the city of Memphis! The Shish Tawook, cubed spiced chicken breast infused with spices and grilled on a wood fire with fresh herbs. Veggie rice that had such incredible flavor to balance the plate. My girlfriend got the fattoush, which was also next level. We did not take a picture of the falafel she got but it was amazing! Our server Elam, was really great.
First time visit. Nice atmosphere with a mix of seating options. Food was excellent and wonderfully presented with great value for portion sizes. However, service was really spotty.

???? This place was very nice, the service was wonderful, and our waiter Hamza was the best. He recommended special for us. We had the Ali Baba Grilled Family Platter, Special Mixed Grill, and Lamp Chops. They celebrated with us playing birthday music for my cousin. I highly recommend this place to visit.
This restaurant was absolutely amazing! I do not just say this lightly. I myself am a chef, and I do take special pleasure in enjoying good food. That being said. We started with Arabic tea w mint, which was yummy ????. The Ali Baba mix appetizer which included hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, mix gardenia and banana peppers. When I say they're hummus is top notch I am not over selling it. Then for entrees we had the shawarma mix entree, lamb shawarma wrap, and tahini salad. My wife was 100% anti lamb anything before today, but now... she absolutely loved their lamb shawarma. Also thier falafel was the best I've ever had. I usually do not much enjoy falafel but there's was great! And the tahini salad... LOVED it! Ive included pictures of the dishes we had. The presentation both of the food and the excellent service and attentiveness was just as good as the taste of the food. The atmosphere was family friendly and very chill. They even treated us to a free baklava dessert that was to top things off after such a wonderful lunch the perfect seal the deal to a top notch lunch. I cannot more highly recommend this place! Our server was Imad and he was a very nice and caring attentive man, couldn't have done better making sure we were happy. If your not eating here your missing out in life. So what are you doing? Get up and go!!!! Thank me later. ❤️❤️❤️
