This spot is a fantastic mom n pop spot for kebabs and Lebanese dishes. We had lamb, kefta, and beef kebabs, chicken shawarma, and kibbeh. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious, excellent portions and fair prices. The service was quick and very nice. We will definitely stop here again when we travel through Boulder.
Ali Baba has been so good for so long. My kids have grown up eating in Golden and now Boulder for 20 years. Hands down the best hummus anywhere. Great flavors on the meats, garlic sauce, and homemade hot sauce. I changed how I cook rice at home because of this restaurant. Lovely owners. ❤️ Free Syria ????????
The first day when I make the food was perfect, it was freshly cooked to perfection
However second time when I went today the Resturant just opened up at 11am and I was the first customer that showed up, I ordered the same food but it was clear that it was reheated from yesterday and was very dry and hard to chew still I would like this place 4 star rating for the first day service I received
By far the best place in Boulder to have the tastiest ans healthiest lunch at a very reasonable price.
Skeptical at first. Which is easy to feel coming into a restaurant you've never been to, in a town you've never been to. This was quickly dismissed with the amazing hand painted artwork around the restaurant. We came around 3 after missing lunch and needed food while charging the car. This exceeded our expectations. The food was wonderful. And I highly appreciate the servers willingness to answer questions we had about the artwork around the room. My only qualm was the price of the chicken nuggets which looked really cheap but the rest of the food was so good I can overlook it.
First time ordering from the lunch menu, I ordered the chicken shawarma. The chicken tasted old and was dry, the salad had no sauce, if it wasn't for the sauce that came with the meal this would have been inedible. I hate wasting money on food and leaving reviews, but the picture says it all.
Disgusting. I got a chicken shawarma plate. I couldn't be more disappointed. None of this chicken is marinated. Shawarma is supposed to be marinated. it's very hard to call this chicken. More gristle than meat
. I WOULDN'T SERVE THIS TO A DOG. This is the driest most distasteful food I've had in a long time. They didn't even cook the rice all the way through. The salad is slimy and browning. The cucumbers are mush. The whole box that came in is disgustingly, wet and sopping. Walking into this place feels dirty, it's very dark, clearly an attempt to hide their lack of hygiene. I will NEVER go back to this place. I already feel sick and barely ate any of it. Surprised they haven't been sued to oblivion.
First time trying Mediterranean food. The grilled chicken and lamb meat was very tender and juicy. But the pepper and tomatoes were like carbon. It’s probably just it’s characteristic. But it would be better to turn them around more often during the grilling.
