First and last time coming here for chicken. I would be ashamed to serve the Portuguese bbq chicken combo the way they did! This is so far from Portuguese style! I'm completely and utterly shocked how they served the bbq chicken combo. It came with white rice that was cooked too long in water and had peas and carrots. Then they served it with dry red kidney beans over the top. The platter is supposed to come with yellow rice and black beans over top. Typically, the black beans usually have a little sauce that comes from the cans too! The chicken was really dry as well. The whole experience was just mind boggling to say the least! I felt like the food came from a corner bodega store. Never again!
Terrible service in regards to working with grubhub! They gave my order to a driver, didn’t confirm with the driver, they stole my order and completely cancelled. The person who spoke with me on the phone was very arrogant and didn’t even help in resolving the issue.
Response to owners comment: no, you did not confirm with the first driver in regards to my order, because you simply just handed him the food and the driver stole my food because he didn’t show you he confirmed that he picked up my order. We waited 2 hours and the food never came.
I know how these apps work because I have 2 restaurants as well.
Great BBQ meat and fish for the price, I can feed a family of 4 with one $23.00 platter,,,
The food was okay, the seafood paella had seaweed looking bugs on a few pieces of scallops that was gross to look at. The pink sangria was very weak in-fact the color was orange. We asked for a red and pink sangria to go in a cup, we were given child size cups but charged $22 for both, again they were weak, whoever poured the drinks is a horrible bartender. The best part of the night was the waiter, he was professional the whole way.
I did not like the food at all. Ordered online, there was no option at buy bbq or hot sauce as a condiment. I made the request in the notes and they sent me two dime size / tiny container of 1 BBQ and 1 hot sauce for an entire platter of food. How can you be a BBQ restaurant and not sell these add ons? I was willing to pay for it… then the food arrived and the rice was more white rather than yellow. That turned me off immediately. I did try the chicken and ribs. It was okay. I ended up just having a sandwich from my house.
Called to order to today at 2:45 to make sure my kids and I had something hot right after school The woman asked for my order took my order. Told me it would be 15 minutes and I guess she never put it in the system. I showed up to the place at 3:15 3:20 PM for them to tell me that my food was never made. I just left because that’s ridiculous. Why take my order or ask my name and not put my stuff in the system. Completely unprofessional here’s a picture of the time I ordered and spoke to them wasted my time
Fast, good, tasty food. The half chicken and pork rib combo with fries and a salad is enough for 4 people. Small place so it's a bit tight when you walk in to place an order. The food is so good
Went to this place to check out the food since I was recommended them. Really good place to get good Brazilian/Portuguese food. The steak was probably one of the best I’ve ever eaten outside but it was not cooked the way I asked, so I didn’t eat all of it but it was a nice portion and definitely worth the money. The dessert was fresh and nicely frozen - just a great way to eat lemon water ice
