Food was very good but the atmosphere was amazing. The decorations for the holiday was the best I’ve ever witnessed. Their team really went above and beyond. Service was also memorable. From bar staff to the waitstaff, everyone was very pleasant. Drinks were good. Will be back with friends!
We have been here several times in the past few years, but tonight Alfresco's knocked it out of the park!! All the wait staff were awesomely friendly and helpful. The salad, veal Marsala and my pizza were amazing!! The interior was also much cleaner than in the past!! Thank you Alfresco's for a great date night for us!!
The waiter was very nice but the food was absolutes disgusting. Pasta sitting in a Ben of water with “sauce”. I wanted to like it because of the atmosphere but I can’t go back especially after the chef didn’t think anything was wrong. There’s kids working in the kitchen.
Honestly, for our trip to Cooperstown this year, this was by far the best food, the best service and most reasonable prices for the entire week. Our waitress (Marlene) was amazing today, super attentive, even though they were short staffed, she told us right away so we knew and just made the whole meal enjoyable. The atmosphere feels like home, highly recommend
The service was excellent. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The food we tried was good, but nothing with a wow factor, but maybe it was just because if what we ordered. The soft drinks came in a plastic bottle with a cup of ice which was unexpected.

We stopped at Alfresco's on our drive home from Howe's Caverns. I had a stromboli and it was packed full of ingredients, arriving fresh and hot. My friends also enjoyed their food. The owners welcomed us to look around in their private and public gardens, an abundance of gorgeous plants and flowers.
Great location and cozy restaurant. The service was slow. They sat us right away but took forever to get us drinks and the food was off. The tortellini taste as if it was spoiled. The other orders were just ok. Will maybe try again and give them another try.
Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Oneonta, NY. There is hardly a bad word that could be spoken about this place. The food is delicious, the wait staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fabulous. It caters especially well to families and couples. During the Christmas season, the place is decked out in some of most amazing decorations you'll ever see in a restaurant. It's worth visiting for the decorations alone.
