Best WLM Reviews
Awesome. My daughter and I had an awesome memory. Grabbing tacos and walking to beach. Also, great tacos.
With how expensive their fish and Chips are how can you replace this order with 3 pieces of fish burnt and the kid's chicken nuggets taste like charcoal?
This was the 2nd time I visited and still got the worst taste of Mexican food from this place.
So unsatisfied when I got home and saw how my food was made. $$ is not worth spending here anymore.
Don’t pay cash they run some sort of you gave me a fake $20 bill scheme.
If management, wants to check that on the cameras I was at the drive-through 10/19/24 6.28pm I was in a Tan van behind the gray Kia Pretty sure when I gave them my second $20 the cashier, pulled out his wallet and put it in there.
Cool Oceanside Mexican spot food with a great surf and turf burrito, however they did add way too much bacon which is an odd thing to concede. Their jamiaca wasn't overly sweet, but still had some great flavor. I'd go again. ????
Pros:
Location, right off coast highway which is very convenient. It's open 24 hours on the weekends which is something no other Mexican fast food has in the northern part of Oceanside. Seems like after COVID all these restaurants became lazy and don't want to stay open.
Cons: EXPENSIVE!!!
It's pricey. I got a sausage, egg, potato and cheese burrito for $10.81 outrageous! The burrito was just okay, nothing special. Most of it was filled with potatoes and very little cheese. I went there early in the morning but I'm staying away from here moving forward.
It was pretty good food, the horchata was amazing and thick not watery like most places. Their hot sauce not so much very watery and not hot or spicy really not a lot of flavor. The prices seemed a little higher than other places.
We went to drive thru, order 3 carnitas plate, mix burrito and a pint of rice. What we got is 3 carnitas plate with guacamole in it ( we told the guy repeatedly no guacamole) and instead pint of rice, we got pint of pico de gallo!! And usually the plate is comes with tortilla, this time no tortilla! So I called, to let them no that all the order was wrong. The only answer I got is ok! And what piss me off the most is I can hear them laughing that they don’t care. We been coming here despite the reviews and at first it was ok especially if your just looking to grab something but it’s been getting worse and worse! Don’t like leaving bad reviews but to laugh at me while I am trying to just let them know the order was wrong and not even sorry can we fix it or even just a sorry. I get it they dont care but we will never be back.
Their machaca burrito was horrible. No flavor what so ever. Taste bland. The only thing that was half way descent was their Carne asada burrito. I use to enjoy this place in oceanside, ca but over the years the food quality has gone down considerable. I think i'll stick with the BARREL in S.D.
