Best WLM Reviews
It's a beautiful restaurant. Today, November 11th, we arrived there around 3 pm. I think the regular server was not there cause the lady served us, didn't act like one. Gave us a vibe that we are not welcome. Very unprofessional and rude. Though we ordered food to eat there, after 40 minutes, when she started bringing food, we asked for to go boxes, wrapped up, paid and left. Lost our appetite. The food was OK.
My husband and I were in the area visiting the Casino and were looking for a place to eat. This spot was about a 5 min drive from our hotel so we decided to give it a try, and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint! For the appetizer we ordered the Caprese salad and crab dip. The crab dip you could tell was fresh, moist and was seasoned very well, it didn’t have the “fishy” taste that sometimes crap dips have. Entrees: I ordered the chicken Marsala and my husband had the filet mignon. The chicken Marsala had so much flavor, and filet was cooked perfectly to the medium rare that my husband likes. I truly wish this place was closer to where we lived because I would visit frequently.
Wow, we were so impressed! We stumbled on this place by accident and couldn't be happier! The ambiance was very eclectic and homey. And, they had a young person playing guitar and singing on a Tuesday evening which was unexpected. The menu was very diverse, with Persian, Italian, Spanish and Moroccan. We had a few appetizers and main dishes and everything was
extremely good. They even had Turkish coffee. The entire staff was so nice. Overall it was a GREAT meal and a wonderful unexpected experience. We will definitely come back!
The whole experiences was a disappointment. Meat was dry, calamari was dry, it was not good!Gyros tastes like microwaved meat.
The curtain as a table divider is just unhygienic in my opinion. This restaurant is dusty, dingy and dirty.
The service is AMAZING. Young people, SUPER friendly and helpful with selection!!!
It was our first time, so we got the meat platter, LOTS of food!!! The steak wasn't very edible though, very tough. The chicken was so tender!!!
Desserts were fun and delicious!
There was even live music!
It was pretty pricy, in my opinion. But I'm not familiar with "fine dining" like this. $150+ for 5 people. But the experience was worth it.
Food taste is rought. Apetizer, fried calamari is mostly breading that looks like mini onion rings, no taste. Just old oily breading taste. Way over fried. Unsweetened ice tea tastes bad, like floor cleaner, like the smell of Fabuloso after taste. Ordered sweet ice tea, not any better. 14 oz ribeye, basmati rice, and onion rings. That was a very expensive terrible tasting food. The onion rings were burnt and bunched up, oily. Rice was soft/mushy, flavorless, ordered medium rare ribeye, came medium well, lacked flavor. I asked for A1 sauce, Tabasco, salt, and pepper to make the food bearable since I'm paying for it. Don't recommend it. People are nice. But food is bad. The atmosphere has too much fragrance. If you are sensitive to strong fragrance pumping, you will hate it. My clothes smelled to the fragrance being pumped. It's just a bad experience overall. I complained about the onion rings just to see how they own it. No real care past "oh, so sorry". May be offer a redo or offer a different side to replace, heck, even a small discount. I was either sitting under the fragrance machine or something. As I'm finishing writing this review, my stomach hates me. I should have stopped at the Calamary. McDonald's has better tasting food. When the desert was offered, my friends and I looked at each other and probably thought, "we wasted enough money on mediocre" food, that would be a pass.
Disappointing, to say the least. I ordered take out from Alfredo’s. A nice gentleman was extremely helpful in getting my order in. I ordered the Cafe Soltani - 2 kabob dinner with rice as well as calamari. Since I didn’t dine in, my overall service interaction and atmosphere exposure was limited.
When I got home, I tried the calamari which was a typical frozen calamari. There was a lot in the take out container, but it didn’t make up for the bland taste and rubbery texture of the calamari. More is not always better.
The chicken and lamb kabob had a decent flavor, but they were cooked WELL done and so tough. There was no juice in it and I would liken it to eating beef jerky. The more I ate it, the less appetizing it got. The rice was fine, as well as the pita bread that came with it. The tzatziki sauce had a weird after taste that almost reminded me of Clorox wipes - granted I haven’t consumed them to know the flavor.
I try to rate places based off of price point and food. This was as expensive as some Mediterranean restaurants in Maryland I had previously reviewed and the quality, flavor and taste is just missing. The total after tax was almost $36.
Buyers remorse is definitely sitting with me on this one.
This place has amazing food! We tried the Crab Bisque, Sampler A, and Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, and they were all delicious. The Crab Bisque was especially great, with rich flavors that left me completely satisfied. The service was outstanding, and the warm welcome we received made us feel right at home. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it for a fantastic dining experience.
