Best WLM Reviews
Absolutely amazing tribute show to Elvis! Food was plentiful flavorful and reasonably priced. Spent approximately $50 for two complete meals. Security was at the door making sure that everyone was checked as they were coming in. Felt safe the entire time I was here watching the show and enjoying the meal. Was never bothered by any other guests for rowdiness or anything else. A very calm establishment. The air conditioning was amazing! Fans were also in use to help dissipate the cigarette smoke. The music was loud enough that nothing disturbed you enjoying the show. Great seating. I would call ahead and make reservations if there is an event or show taking place at the establishment. Did I feel safe Yes. Would I recommend it absolutely. I would go out of my way to eat there again and recommend it.
We are visiting from England, we were walking along Beale Street, and we were lucky to be passing when your Elvis evening was on, we Absolutely loved it. Atmosphere was buzzing, fantastic bar, Elvis (all 3, Absolutely brilliant)
Thank you for the experience..... totally recommend this place
This place is great, we had the ribs. Make sure you save room for dessert because the Peach Conbler was the best way to finish the meal. If you can request a server we recommend Tisha V, she is very pleasant, kind and helpful. We will be back!????
Stayed in Memphis for 4 nights had a great time everywhere else but here!! Server rolled her eyes when we were being set which was fine I get it… you don’t want to work, we were served soggy fried pickles so I asked if we could possibly get something different or them remade and I would pay the difference on whatever if I needed. Being a server for 10 years I know this is how food service works. If a customer doesn’t like something you do what’s needed to make them happy. When I asked to talk to a manager very politely he finally came over and shoved a menu in my face. Then continued to tell me that they don’t remake things and it was our problem and our “taste buds were off.” We paid the $120 check and left. Never have I ever not tipped. I tip 25-30% every time I eat out but when you are completely rude and hateful there will be no tip and you will never get mine or my families service again. I have no clue who hired this man child as a manager but they need to do some reevaluation. Getting loud with a table of females in front of other guests is VERY unprofessional and embarrassing on his behalf honestly. Like I said we ate at 4 different restaurants in 2 days while downtown and NEVER had an issue until we came here. Run away from this place if you ever visit!!!
**Alfred's on Beale Street, Memphis - A Perfect Blend of Ambiance, Cuisine, and Music**
My visit to Alfred's on Beale Street was a truly memorable experience, combining great food, captivating music, and a stunning setting. Sitting on the patio overlooking Beale Street at sunset was beautiful, offering a perfect vantage point to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this iconic location.
I decided to try the Cajun Catfish, which was an excellent choice. The catfish was perfectly seasoned with a delightful Cajun kick, and every bite was a testament to the chef's skill. Paired with well-crafted cocktails, the meal was thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the live blues band playing downstairs. Their fantastic performance provided the perfect soundtrack to our meal, enhancing the overall experience with soulful tunes that embody the spirit of Beale Street.
In summary, Alfred's on Beale Street is a must-visit spot in Memphis. The combination of a beautiful patio view, delicious Cajun Catfish, refreshing cocktails, and outstanding live music creates an atmosphere that is both relaxing and entertaining. I highly recommend Alfred's for anyone looking to enjoy the best of what Beale Street has to offer.
Nice atmosphere and staff! You get plenty of good food for your money.
The band plays some of the most relaxing music ????. They're one of the best bands I've ever heard. I love it!
We ate on the patio. Jonathan was phenomenal. He was helpful and knowledgeable. The drinks were great. The good was even better! We all loved our meals! The atmosphere was infectious. We had a great time inside and out! Great energy and music.
STAY AWAY! We came in from out of town to attend a Grizzlies game and decided to dine here after the game. WRONG CHOICE! The food is horrible and lacks any type of taste. Our party of 6 ordered 6 different meals and none of us enjoyed our food. Our server was nowhere to be found and we had to wave her down anytime we needed her (when we could actually see her). The bathrooms are disgusting, the dining room floors dirty, tables sticky. I knew I should have stayed away when the doors had all of these “rules” listed of what people COULD NOT do in their establishment. The ONLY reason I gave this restaurant any stars is because of the music/live blues band which was good. Please find somewhere else to go if you’re looking for tasty food and a clean atmosphere!
