Stopped for a late breakfast at Alfred's for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious omelette and eggs Benedict (California style on each).
Large diner size portions and fair prices ensures that we will return again at our next stop in Tacoma! The cafe is much larger than it appears from the outside and we enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and friendly staff.
It's smaller then I thought. The waitress seemed a little rushed but there was a lot of people here this morning. She was otherwise kind. The food was delicious and the pancakes are pretty big and blueberries are big and real not like the ones in the pancakes mix you get at the store.. I would definitely come back. The prices were on the high side in my opinion. But still delicious.
Loved this place. Stopped here for breakfast on my way to Port Angeles. Food was amazing. Great portions for what you pay. And staff was extremely friendly.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Alfred’s Cafe, and it was truly an amazing experience! We ordered pancakes, omelets, and bacon, and every dish was simply delightful.
The pancakes were fluffy and light, drizzled with just the right amount of syrup. They were cooked to perfection, and I could have eaten a stack more! The omelet was equally impressive, filled with fresh ingredients and cooked to order. Each bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the quality of their ingredients.
And let’s not forget the bacon! It was crispy and savory, providing the perfect complement to the other dishes. The balance of flavors and textures was spot on.
The atmosphere of the restaurant added to the experience as well—inviting and cozy, making it a perfect spot to start the day. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our meal.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast. I can’t wait to return and try more of their menu!
Delicious food and great service. Food came out quickly and was hearty and filling. This is the 2nd time coming here and I will continue to eat here whenever I'm in the area. I forgot to take pictures because I was hungry and swallowed my meal lol. I had the pancake meal but hit French toast for this review because pancakes its not an option.
Phenomenal eggs benedict (california benedict, vegetarian) . Perfectly cooked hash browns. Coffee refills & Great bloody mary, strong, ask for it with spicy vodka. :)
Great breakfast, great service, and an awesome atmosphere.
All of the food was delicious.
The pancakes were classic diner pancakes, huge and fluffy. Very tasty.
The spicy breakfast burrito was delicious too. You can tell the peppers and onions they use for the burritos and potatoes O'Brien are super fresh. I think they could go a little lighter on the onions, but it was still really good.
We will absolutely be back!
