Best WLM Reviews

The elderly gentleman working there was at first very nice and welcoming.
After we had decided what to order and he didnt like the fact that we didnt order any of the main courses of the day. He suddenly changed his tone and attitude towards us.
The food was average. Wouldn’t visit again
Best falafels I’ve ever had. I don’t usually like them because they’re too dry, but these were perfect. The pizza like things were also great.
I got the fisherman’s something or other and wouldn’t recommend as it’s too dry and actually not too flavorful. I would try the lamb next time.
The drinks were good. If you’re sensitive to sugar, you shouldn’t get the jallab.
Dessert: would try the loves dessert next time as the maalmoun was too dry. Perhaps a bit better with a coffee or milk tea.
Service was great, and the chef even comes out.
It is very beautiful Mediterranean restaurant, manakeesh is the best, you eat it and you don't feel the bread, it is stuffed well.
People are very friendly.
The size of the manakeesh is big and each one good to feed 2, they cut it usually to 4 PCs.
Just the best atmosphere with delicious food and the kindest owners and staff! 100% recommend for authentic Lebanese cuisine. Definitely try their desserts too!
I'm Lebanese and Alforon is one of THE BEST Lebanese restaurants in San Diego! The food is authentic and tastes great. The owners Samia and George are extremely nice and always make sure that everything is to your liking.
You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my personal favorite is the manakeesh. The dough is perfect!
Highly recommended!
Awesome spot to try out Mediterranean Lebanese food in San Diego.
3 of us ordered:
-chicken tawook
-Sayyadieh (Fisherman's Rice)
-Ouzi Lamb
Chicken tawook (flatbread) was extremely tasty and very unique. The other two items were their top 2 most popular dishes (rice dishes). The flavors were great! If it is a small group, I would recommend only picking one of the rice dishes so you don't carb overload.
Food definitely comes out a bit on the slower end. For the value, I did wish they provided more food. Staff is friendly. Owners/chefs made their ways around tables to check in.
I'll be back for sure to try out different items on their menu!
Extremly limited parking out front...otherwise, street parking.
One of the best I’ve came across on the west coast. I’m out of words. Must try, here’s what I ordered:
Baba ghanoush, kibbeh, fatoush, and beef kebab.
Also please try the house dessert for the most lovely surprise.
An explosion of flavors made by the best ingredients. Will come back soon????????
Anyone who ever sets a foot in San Diego should visit Alforon at least once. I am obsessed with this place’s food and even more their hospitality. The owners are husband-wife duo and what an amazing people they are. We visited their place for the husband’s birthday and couldn’t have preferred to go anywhere else. The lovely lady sat with to understand our food preferences and recommended a few dishes. Her sense of humour and hospitality have made this place one of my favourites. I had the softest chicken of my life there. They offer the best flatbread pizza. Their love dessert is to die for. If you are a food lover, then this place should be the first on your list. If you go to this place, please listen to their owners/chefs and you will have the best food of your life. The parking space is limited in front of the restaurant but might find a street parking near by.
