Best WLM Reviews
This restaurant is actually inside a gas station but believe it or not the food is excellent. What a great little surprise!
I was a little worried when we walked in the door but it was definitely worth it.
Warmly greeted upon entry by a highly enthusiastic staff. The free smells at the door immediately confirmed we had chosen wisely. The place appeared clean with no issues noted.
The menu choices are numerous and immense. I selected the #3 combo of two shredded beef tacos, rice and beans. I elected to use the house made salsa as well.
My meal was hot fresh and delicious. I truly felt someone took great pride in producing my food. My tacos were flavor packed and very enjoyable, my rice was rice but the beans stole the show, they were simply exceptional.
Totally refreshing in the post pandemic world to once again experience genuine customer service Vs. the total indifference from staff that has zero pride in what the do and zero shame in what they deliver as acceptable.
I can easily recommend this establishment for anyone wanting an exceptional fast food meal on the cheap.
I'm giving this only two stars for atmosphere because it's in a gas station and is basically a dive at best. However, I'm giving it five stars for everything else because the food is delicious. It's the best burrito I've had since moving away from NM a few years ago. It's definitely worth trying, but maybe takeout!
A cute little Mexican diner with a drive-up window for car orders. The food is actually outstanding so don't judge this book by its cover, that of being in a convenience store at a gas station. It works! The folks here are friendly and prepare the food quickly so that your wait will be rewarded indeed. The red-themed tables and chairs reminds me of a grade school cafeteria, but hey, you can fit at least 30 people here.
Alfonso’s is a little spot in a gas station. The food was decent. We ordered a #1 plate, and a #9. We also tried to get the vegetarian 5 rolled tacos. When we got our food, the rolled tacos were covered in meat. We asked them if we could get them with just cheese and avocado like it says on the menu. When we got the second round, they were filled with meat and sloppily thrown together with just cheese and avocado on top. Not happy with that part of our experience but the other food was okay.
The food was amazing! I can’t say enough about the Fiesta Fries! The tortillas are humongous and homemade.
The only thing decent about this restaurant is the food. I went through the drive through just to be told to wait, finally went inside to place my order which was given to someone else by a employee toting her baby around. No apology, nothing, waited another 20 minutes to finally get my order. Staff is incompetent, restaurant is dirty, and although food is good, its overpriced.
Food was super good and tasty! Big portions too. It’s in a gas station convenience store so not the most “restaurant-y” environment but worth it!
