Had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Alfoccino's Italian Restaurant in Auburn Hills, MI! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was inviting and impeccably clean, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The lasagna was a revelation, layered with rich flavors that felt like a warm hug with every bite. Surprisingly, the fish and chips were a standout, easily the best we've had, crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. But what truly made our visit special was George, our waiter, who treated us like family with his warm, attentive service. It's not just George; the entire staff at Alfoccino's goes above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for top-notch Italian cuisine and exceptional service.
Lovely restaurant and the food was great! Yeast bread rolls that are house made...very yummy. We were here with friends and got to visit in the fairly quiet atmosphere. A really great little Italian restaurant with a full bar. Desserts are not house made, but good quality.
Very traditional Italian food and atmosphere. The service was very good. The food is good, but nothing I'm excited to return for. I got the sampler so I could try a few different things, having never been there before. The chicken parm was very good. The lasagna was okay, but the sauce was a little heavy for my taste and the noodles were either slightly undercooked or over warmed-up. Alfredo sauce was a little bland for my taste but had good texture. Salt and pepper added made it much better.
I used to eat at this place back in the 90s. It was fabulous they used to have Italian non English-speaking women in the back room, making homemade pasta. I found out last night. They no longer do that, but I understand. I was so excited with my family made reservations for this place. Let me start out by saying our server was fabulous. Attentive, everything was right with her. The food on the other hand was extremely sub Par. It was cold and when I say cold I mean real cold. The salad was frozen. We were in a corner booth towards the back of the restaurant and on the window Sill was 20 30. Maybe even more dead bugs and with the amount of dust that was on there, You could tell no one's cleaned it in months. To spend over $500 before tip was totally inexcusable for the food and how dirty our area was. Years ago I used to be safe serv certified and this place would fail hands down. So disappointing. I've never wrote a bad review such as this ever. I understand totally what it's like to run a Restaurant and sometimes things happen. Some things get out of hand. I'm actually now over critical.
Three of us enjoying dinner consisting of chicken piccata with capers, mostaccioli Alfredo, and linguini with muscles and shrimp. It was delicious. Chocolate cake for dessert to finish it off. Wonderful service and succulent food.
