Best WLM Reviews

I stayed here with my 16 year old son who was having surgery at Dallas Children’s Hospital. This hotel is right next door to In N Out, Subway, McDonald’s, Cane’s Chicken, and so many other restaurants! Then my “commute” to the hospital was a whopping 5 minutes, we scooted by all of the traffic trying to get onto the freeway and took a side street! It was super convenient! My son had a broken leg, but was due to have spine surgery the next morning. We ended up needing an MRI and that place was only 3 minutes from the hotel! It truly was a great place to stay, very clean, smelled nice, iron, ironing board, hair dryer and microwave all in the room. Also a desk and we had two beds. The beds were a little too firm for my liking, but the shower was great and I felt very safe and glad to be in that room for the night! The staff was very friendly, the vending machines were stocked well, ice machines all seemed to be working well and the flies and lobby were immaculate. The pool is outside, but it was too cold for me to consider going for a swim! The only other issue that I had was that they charge $100.00 for incidental fees. It came back to me 3 days after my stay, but it was higher than I had anticipated. The rest of the trip, I was able to stay at the hospital with my son. But I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone, especially if you are going to Dallas Medical City. The stress it takes off of your mind to be that close to the hospital is worth anything negative that I have mentioned; which is why I rate them so highly! They take great care of your every need at this hotel. I’m so glad I chose it then and I will definitely choose them again!
Good news : the room and Internet were decent enough. The lady who checked me in last night was wonderful.
Bad News : My room was right by I635, and you can hear loud traffic all night long.
There's an alarm that goes intermittently, I think it's from when opening outside door.
The girl at reception gave me an attitude when I approached the desk. She barked 'YES' instead of good morning or can I help you. You can see what kind of clientele they are used to dealing with.
I've stayed in hotels all over the world, but this one certainly ranks lowest.
Moral of the story : you get what you pay for.
I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude for Prakash the manager for his outstanding service during my recent stay at Alexis Hotel. I was genuinely impressed with your kindness and professionalism in handling the situation with my forgotten speaker.
Your prompt action in locating the item and going the extra mile to ship it from Texas to California is truly commendable. It’s not every day that one encounters such dedication and commitment to guest satisfaction, and I am deeply appreciative of your efforts.
Thank you once again for making my experience at Alexis Hotel exceptional. Your attention to detail and customer care is a testament to the high standards of your team.
THEY REQUIRE A $100 SECURITY DEPOSIT THAT GETS REFUNDED IN 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS SO BE AWARE!! IT WAS NOT STATED ANYWHERE BEFORE CHECK IN.
The parking lot is right next to the highway and is nasty. There are sketchy people all around so don’t leave anything in your cars. The hotel itself reeked of “skunk” smell. The gentleman checking us in was rude pointing to the piece of paper saying he needed a $100 security deposit to stay. Wasn’t made of aware of that when booking but whatever. The actual hotel room smelt like a wet sock that was left behind. But it was decent and clean. No breakfast but they have vending machines. Would not stay here again or recommend.
Great customer service kindness is always great. Being that my husband and I are not from Texas just visiting for a night to pick my daughter up from airport in morning, we drove far being tired from drive , it made us feel nervous staying in a new state as well as hotel. But the staff has made us feel comfortable safe respectful to us. With clean rooms that are comfortable . Room service for when your to tired to get out of bed. So I appreciate the front counter employees for helping us find a great food choice that was delicious but also very close with kindness that makes us pick Alexis hotel for us to stay next time where here.
Thank you,
Sincerely,
Munoz Couple
The night clerk on October 12th did us a huge solid (don’t remember his name) and got us a room despite our original booking not going through a 3rd party site correctly. He didn’t overcharge us and really helped us out so we didn’t have to drive 3 hours home.
The room was nice, clean, and everything worked. Mattress was pretty hard but fine for a night.
I spent a week here and loved every minute of my time here. Rooms are big, the bed is comfortable and every person working here greeted me with a smile. I messed up my reservation, and they fixed it, making something that could have been embarrassing and challenging into such a pleasant stay.
They need to close this place down. Stinks, like literally stinks.
You need to put a deposit down for some reason. Place smells like literal dog water. The elevator made me fear for my life every time I would enter it. The halls stink and you can hear other guest constantly. Hotel room was garbage again, it smelled everywhere. If there is one thing you get from my review is that this place just stunk. The AC was just extremely loud. The hotel itself is in a bad area, random people walking around and the outside is just dirty. The pool area looks abandoned. Its almost like the hotel was closed. There was 1 person at the desk and I think they had maybe 1 cleaner. So at times I would walk to the front desk and no one would be there. The manager only comes in for like 4 hours during the day and every-time you ask a question to the staff they just mention that "you will have to talk to the manager". I put the do not disturb tag on my door and the cleaners still came into my room for some reason. I had a feeling this would happen and it did but luckily I never leave anything in my room regardless of what hotel I stay at.
If you choose to stay here please don't leave anything in your room and do not stay for more than 1 night.
This was the only hotel with rooms available and honestly I should have seen that as a red flag. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and this is bar far the worst Ive been to. I typically don't even think about going to a "random" hotel but I honestly was thinking. What is the worst that could happen. and the worst happened.
