Where do I begin! I’m picky about diners. This place was FANTASTIC. First of all, the place is very very clean. Even the glass/mirrors on the walls. The service was wonderful. Michelle was so sweet. She went a step further to make sure I got my corn beef hash exactly as I was hoping for. And the cherry on top, who I presume to be the owner was so observant to our interests in the dessert selection and realizing we had a hard time choosing what to pick, shows up with a full plate of different flavored cheesecakes and other desserts. My husband and I along with our friends are very very happy with this place. We will come back the next time we are in town ???? Thank you!!!
We were on a mini road trip and saw this place just as we were about to head to McDonald's. We were seated quickly, our order was taken promptly and water was served with our drinks without needing to ask. The waitress was very nice and the food was out to us fairly quickly.
My friend and I decided to share a sampler; she ordered a side of mac n cheese with bacon, and I, a side of waffle fries with cheese. I was offered a selection of cheeses, and I chose American. When the food came out I was a little surprised to see the cheese was just sliced American cheese just slapped on top and a little over-broiled. I'm not one to complain about small things, and I did say American cheese...what was I really expecting?!???? The mac n cheese was much more than a side order but again, why complain?! The mac had little to no flavor and the sauce was a little chunky. The sampler comes with zucchini fries, which were gross and soggy, we left those. The chicken tenders were like something from a school lunch. When we were ready to go, we had to flag down our waitress, who was chatting it up with a family in our section for way too long. Not worth the $54.
Neat place. Gives a small town old school diner feel. Seems clean and taken care of. Food came out quick. Menu is pretty good except they don’t notate there’s ham in one of the paninis I chose. So I had to send it back but no problem was given. Waitress was really kind and sweet. Fair prices with generous servings. Plenty of parking available and has ramp for wheel chair accessible.
Our group of four just visited the Alexis Diner for the first time and we will definitely return! Michelle our waitress was personable and attentive. Great service! Our group ordered breakfast and dinner, we were really happy with how our meals tasted!! I got the French onion soup and BLT Delicious! One of the owners gave us a sample platter of their cakes and cheesecakes, it was amazing!!! It was so hard to pick a favorite. We learned that all of their desserts are made in-house. You can tell! Beautiful and so good!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Was a wonderful experience eating here at Alexis Diner! Our waitress was exceptional, courteous and prompt! Food was great and priced very reasonably!
Excellent classic Greek diner. Looks brand new. Value for your money. The entree included a Greek salad big enough for lunch by itself; 2 thick pieces of fresh challah bread; and a dessert big enough to split; all for less than $20. Sparkling clean, bright and airy, very friendly people. Will be back!!
What a delicious delight ????
We had a tasty dinner ( fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables & Turkey dinner with trimmings- Cheese fries with gravy, salad and chicken noodle soup) The service was pleasant and engaging. We were stuffed so we got our dessert to go and man what a scrumptious treat it was!!
Napoleon so delicate and creamy with just the right amount of sweet.
Will most certainly stop by again when we're up in the area.
Clean, welcoming space. Beautiful pastries displayed in the refrigerated cases at the front. We came for breakfast. Served quickly and order was accurate and beautifully presented. Waitstaff and cashier kind, knowledgeable, helpful. Eggs under cooked - I didn’t ask for it to be fixed. I’m a visitor to the area so it will be years between visits. It’s often like this - lots to appreciate, some little off notes. Oh - something new for me, bill presented with cash or credit price. Hadn’t seen that before. I think it’s smart for the business and smart for the customer.
