This place is awesome, one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time! Hands down best item was the churro French toast. Would get it every time we came. The brunch hash entree we got was also excellent and I’d get this every time as well. The Cajun Benedict I got was solid but not nearly as good as the brunch hash. The pancakes were solid as well.
We also got an Irish coffee and man that was strong. I appreciate them making a true Irish coffee and not holding back here.
Everything felt fairly priced and was delicious. We will absolutely come back.
Delicious food, bright and vibrant atmosphere, and awesome service! We waited about 20 minutes to get a table around noon on Saturday but it was totally worth it. Food was delightful - I got the Bacon and Yams Omelette (so good!), partner got the Eggs Benedict and said it was great. The breakfast potatoes came with them both and were cooked perfectly. We’ll definitely be back!
Since this places was opened in 2011 , I came and my first dish to try was chilaquiles , they were and are the most delicious ???? chilaquiles ever tried in Chicagoland . The steak and chicken are so delicious like any other place . Today I tried the pancakes with strawberry and mango ???? and are so amazing ! Is a group of flavors in one , very tasty and crunchy. I recommended you to come and try everything at this place is very delicious and well marinated. The waitresses are so welcoming and attentive, and professional , they know their job very well, the environment of this place is calm ☺️ and like home , I’m very happy I found Alexander’s for my breakfast and lunch options around my area . Thank you ???????? recommended.
One of the best breakfast meals I've ever had! The shakshouka toast was phenomenal. Such an incredibly hearty dish. We also had the pumpkin hotcakes and Aleksander's salad, all of which were very delicious.
Highest praise for the churro french toast and the Brunch hash with pork belly and yams. The homemade corned beef hash was excellent too. The service was excellent and our kind server recommended other items to try next time. Cannot wait to come back!
Calm and quiet early morning breakfast with my hubby. I appreciate that they catered to changing the eggs and bread to our preference. Enjoyed my grilled cheese with cheddar, granny smith and bacon! Will be back to try the sweets next time. So many good choices on the menu to experience.
The food was excellent but the service was ok. I was expecting better customer service for the price we pay. We asked for a coffee refill and never came until we were done eating. They also charge 3% for credit card while the food prices are already high. Parking is hard to find without a permit.
Don’t skip out on the churro French toast, it’s crispy and soft. The sugar cinnamon coating on the French toast gives that crunch, it’s really good. Irish coffee, is Irish coffee, strong with whiskey and a dollop of whip cream. Cajun Benedict was tasty with the different spices and the poached egg was still runny snd gooey to combine with the sauce. The BRUNCH hash was my favorite hands down. The pork belly, sweet potatoes, poblano pepper, regular brunch potatoes, and the sunny side up egg? AMAZING. Will be making this a regular meal every time I come to Alexander’s!
Expect a wait because it does get busy, but not a long one!
