Great place to have breakfast or brunch with friends. I'm vegan and spent time with some omnivore homies. I had the vegan breakfast sandwich with sliced tomatoes and sauteed spinach. Other photos include eggs, potatoes, pancake, and California Burrito. I was told that the burrito was a bit small, but was enjoyable.
Alexa’s Cafe is definitely a neighborhood gem. The decor gives me a warm, welcoming feeling. Together with the friendly wait staff, I feel like I am eating at a friend’s house.
Their menu offers a great selection of breakfast and lunch dishes. With generous portion sizes and great tasting food, I have no choice but to keep coming back.
Been here twice in the last month. Always super busy and fairly loud inside, but the food is tasty. I like the outdoor seating for when we have our little dogs with us. The amount of food is average, and we don’t normally have leftovers. They make great breakfast and lunch items.
Alexa's Cafe has been one of my favorite brunch/lunch spots for over 15 years. Everything is good. They customize meals without blinking twice, kids are welcome, the portions are generous, the staff is lovely (shout out to hostess Megan G who has helped me multiple times!) and the atmosphere is beautiful (exposed brick, photography displays from local artists, posters for local events, fresh flowers in each table, etc). This is a cafe where everyone is welcome: old granny lunch groups, new moms breastfeeding, solo eaters reading and eating in silence, and a tables of big families ordering the entire menu.
Love the ambiance and the vibe here ???? Best thing about this place is that you can order half a sandwich and a single French toast or a pancake to have your own amazing breakfast combo. They have patio seating where pups are allowed. There's a huge free parking lot at the back entrance of this cafe and a lot of free street parking options around the block and close to their front entrance. I ordered a virgin bloody mary but it came with a strip of bacon dipped in it! Just something to keep in mind while ordering if you are a vegan/vegetarian. The french toast was okay. Loved my grilled pesto cheese sandwich with a side of pasta salad.
A perfect spot for breakfast with a great selection of delicious options. The food is tasty, and the staff is friendly. There’s a wide variety of vegetarian choices on the menu.
We enjoyed our experience here. We came for breakfast on a Sunday morning, the restaurant was pretty busy. but we were able to find a parking spot on their lot just outside and a table for our group.
The menu is mostly breakfast with few other options, this worked out perfectly fine for us. I had the dad’s plate which came with two eggs bacon potatoes and toast, and my wife had the scrambled eggs with chicken. They don’t do omelettes by the way. The food was delicious and the potion pretty big, I could hardly finish mine. I also had a cappuccino which was great as well. Great ambience and fast service.
We've visited Alexa’s Cafe twice and enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. However, I had to subtract one star due to finding a small eggshell in my Florentine Benedict, which I hope was just a rare mistake. Their lattes and cappuccinos are excellent, which is a big plus. The service is quick and good.
