Stop by today to celebrate ???? my daughter’s 30th birthday (which fell on Father’s Day this yr). We went to the one in DuPont Circle and the Atmosphere definitely gave Mexican vibes with the decor & music. Not crowded at the time we arrived. The server didn’t understand English to well, So he got our drink orders wrong…But they were quick to recover and gave us 2 Free Shot rounds. But the food was definitely on point…I had the Shrimp Taco Salad ????. And everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal as well. I heard the one on U St NW was better, So maybe I’ll check out that one.
Service was the highlight of this restaurant. Our servers were super kind, advised on the menu and the complementary chips and souce was super welcomed, as we got there late and were starving.
We ordered the beef fajitas and the chicken tacos with green souce. Food was really good.
Atmosphere and decorations are very relaxed, you forget you are in the middle of Dupont circle. Definitely recommend.
Flavor of food was great. Margarita of the house is one of the best I’ve had. Food came really fast and waiter was very attentive. Only thing would be they were not too friendly and felt a bit hostile. Would come back! Price is normal for the area.

The best quesadillas I’ve had my entire life. Exceeded my expectations. Definitely coming back to this place.Joel provided an exceptional service, even gave us drinks on the house. Really great guy and his service was top notch. Ask for Joel, he’ll get you right !!!
I had the taco salad at lunch, which I do admit is a mid-tier menu item at any restaurant on a good day. This was pretty good! I will have to go back and get more specialty menu items when I'm not rushing to order (my fault, not the staff). I can attest their house made margaritas are choice. I'm excited to see a ceviche and a variety of options. The highlight was the staff! Friendly and warm but at the same time let me enjoy my meal, a great balance.
This is a new location for this family run Mexican restaurant. It's an explosion of colorful decor. If you had a bad day, come and unwind here. If the lively atmosphere doesn't make you happy, the margaritas will. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was patient and helpful. We were seated right away. Service is fast. The food is fresh and tasty. Did I mention the margaritas? Well, I tried and loved the Georgia Peach flavored one. This one is served on the rocks. They also have about 5 frozen flavor options. It's loud with music playing and people socializing, but not obnoxious. It's a fairly small restaurant, but the mirrors give it a very open feel. If I lived here locally, I would frequent this restaurant. Good luck for this new location.
We had a great experience here. Food was very good, chips and salsa was excellent and our waiter was very happy and kind. The atmosphere was cool too.
