Best WLM Reviews

This place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! My first night there, 2 employees from the front desk went inside of my room and opened up 3 of my bags. My belongings were all over the floor when I came back the next morning from work. When I informed the manager he told me that this kind of stuff happens all the time. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I will not be returning.
I visit San Francisco for a major conference every year, and I generally stay at the Parc55 or the Nikki hotel, but I could not afford it. I expected it to be bad, but the price is unbeatable for the area, so despite some trepidation, I booked 4 nights.||||I visited in December, and it was very cold and drafty. I bought some packing tape for the window, which made it much better. The room also had a very small heater, which did not work properly because of air in the circuit. There is a bleeding valve, so I let the air out, and then it started working better. I still used my coat as an additional blanket, and it was ok.||||My room had no bed-bugs, but as all rooms, only a sink and the shower/toilet shared with the rest of the floor occupants. They were both ok -- not the cleanest, but more or less what you get in a student dorm.||||The area was terrible, and despite being a white dude, I was concerned returning later at night. Homeless are everywhere smoking crack, and you can expect seeing syringes and crack pipes on the floor. The smell of human urine and feces on the streets adjacent to the hotels is overpowering. Wearing a mask helps to a point, but it is a disgusting smell that remained ingrained in my memory way after I left San Francisco. ||||The management were nice, not that I asked for anything special. However, one evening when I returned after hours, one homeless followed me all the way to the entrance of the hotel. The guard on duty opened the door for me, came out, escorted me into the hotel, and sent the homeless away who was forcing his way in. I appreciated that.||||Honestly, I will never stay at this hotel again because even though the price is unbeatable, I will likely stay further our and simply take Uber. It is a shame because the hotel is a byproduct of the entire area. I would say that this is closer to a hostel than to a model.
Horrible place. It's right in the middle of blocks of homeless people. The people outside were on drugs, naked, drunk, screaming and fighting all night. You could hear and smell everything from outside in the room, even with closed windows. The smell was again drugs and human "output". The hotel door is locked 24/7, so that nobody can get in, that's how bad the neighborhood is. The hotel itself is really old inside. The rooms were not cleaned once in our three night stay. The bathtub was dirty, I didn't want to shower at all. One night I had to kill a cockroach which was running on the floor next to the bed. The people running the hotel were friendly, that's the only positive thing.
This place is a very basic rundown hotel. Which is fine, I wasn't expecting the earth. The room was a decent size and there was a shared toilet and shower on my floor. The bed was fine I had everything I needed. The big problem however is the neighbourhood I was in. Do you research before booking. There is a lot of homeless in the area and if you are after a romantic image of SF this will ruin it.
The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We checked into this hotel to get away from another hotel that was full of homeless people shooting up. We moved to this hotel hopefully thinking it would be better. Was I wrong! Full of shady characters everywhere. The hotel it's self had the dodgiest elevator I'd ever seen! Our room wasn't that good, paper thin walls I could hear people having sex in the room next door! My partner got bed bugs just yuck! I only got 3 hours sleep, it was just so loud and noisy everywhere. Checked out after one night at 5am, will never ever stay here again! Highly recommend people don't stay here! It's for people using drugs and banging porstitues. Just spend the better money and stay away from this place, you won't feel safe. Trust me I didn't either
Service/employees were fine, room was decent , it's the very basic you need - bed, bathroom, TV. Hotel is in a bad area so hotel front door is locked 24/7, very outdated no A/C and we stayed on the top floor so it was very hot all night and alot of yelling outside, sirens going off constantly so made for sleepless nights. We stayed 4 nights and not cleaned/towels replaced - take that how you want. It's definitely not your typical chain hotel, just overall dirty feeling. Not from the area so took a chance but would not stay again.
Bed bugs. Stayed there ended up with bedbug bites. Been in contact with management but when we asked to be compensated due to the bites management hasn't replied. 7/29/18 we checked in 08/1/18 woke up with a couple of bites. Wasn't sure what it was from.|||| Looked for bugs but didn't find anything. Didn't want to jump to conclusions about bed bugs so ignored it. 8/2/18 woke up with few more bites. Again didn't see any signs of any bed bugs. Again didn't want to jump to conclusions and accuse your hotel room of having bedbugs. Did a little research and found it takes a few days for bed bug bites to show up. Never had bed bug bites before so we had to look it up. But still had no proof of bugs. Only the bites. 8/4/18 woke up with few more bites. Still no evidence of bed bugs 8/5/18 woke up with few more bites. ||||FOUND a bed bug. Reported to the front desk as soon as we found it. You saw some of the pictures showing the various stages of healing of the bites. Told him and asked for a refund. Front desk man said only management could give refunds. There was no management working that day. Which led to us conversing via email.|||| From Aug 5th to the 8th we have been in contact via email and have records of showing pics and trying to work with the management. Once we asked about being compensated management hasn't replied. We were told by friends that work at a hotel that by law the hotel should reimburse us for our stay, medical and cleaning. We are only asking for reimbursement of our stay. We rented 3 rooms and had problems in one room. Room 315 had bed bugs. When we looked at the reviews of the hotel we found out that bedbugs seems to be a pretty common occurrence across many years.|||| The pictures used to show customers the room are also false and misleading. Like night and day.
Took my wife here for a little getaway for the night and we had a great time. The room was very clean and comfortable and the tub was fantastic. Also on arrival the free glass of wine hit the spot. Its also close to the waterfront attractions within walking distance. This is more of a couples place and is very quiet.
