I’m from ????????South Philadelphia and I have not had such delicious home made Italian food like this in a while. Especially since I moved here to Florida. This was my family‘s first time trying this place. We took a chance like we did with many other Italian restaurants, and I have to say by far this is the number one best spot. My family and I will absolutely be ordering from here again and again. Our food arrived on time, and nice and hot, also the portions were great. I could say that there could be a little bit more calamari in the order, but the delicious taste made up for it. The prices were definitely reasonable. The gentleman that took my order was absolutely polite and on point with everything. I’m very happy that I finally found a place that I can always go to for excellent Italian food. I’m excited to try other foods from this restaurant and I’m definitely looking forward to it! Thanx Paisan????????
This is the best pizza place in Clearwater, hands down. I’ve been ordering from them regularly, and it’s the only place I get my pizza now. Their garlic knots are always fresh and delicious—I’ve tried others, but nothing compares. We usually do takeout, but they have a dining area. The owner is often there, greeting customers and making the pizzas with super fresh ingredients. They are hardworking, friendly people, and their pizza is amazing.
We were very excited to try this pizza place. The food looked good and cooked well when we picked it up. The pizza was a little greasy but it was pepperoni. I got the cheese calzone which looked awesome. Unfortunately when I took a bite it was liquid and tasted of sour milk. I called to store he first asked if I was sure it was from his store. I have the receipt so yes. He assured me he sold many calzones today and had no complaints, there is nothing wrong with it. Well on my end it is inedible and he did not offer to fix the problem, unfortunately. We won’t be returning. Poor customer service. I have been in the nutrition and food industry for 20+ years I know what sour food is like. We just want to find a decent pizza place!!!
We stayed at the hotel right behind Aldo's. The first thing we smelled was Italian. So we googled what restaurants were near. Found this place and couldn't wait to try it. My daughter and I walked over and ordered to go. Manicotti and ravioli. We took it back to the hotel and devoured it. It was amazing. The salad that came with it wasn't that good (but we didn't go there for the salad). The garlic knots could have been more garlicky but they were tasty. The owner was very nice and friendly. We went back the next night and got the pizza. We were from out of town and didn't want to drive to get food. So luckily Aldo's was nearby.
Unfortunately my Pizza tasted great until I noticed the basil had not been washed and had some strange little fuzzy creature on it.
The ordered pizza is inedible and burnt! the bacon went bad and the order was 30 minutes late! I paid over $40 and we left hungry! We asked the owner if he was willing to pay this refund, he refused, he denied that the pizza was bad! Incredible! I have pictures of this.
This is one of the few restaurants that are open right after Hurricane Milton. The owner is currently the only one present at the store. He makes the pizza fresh. We were able to watch him make the pizza right up front. He has excellent customer service and table manners. The food was absolutely fantastic. 10/10.
Wonderful small business pizzeria! We found this place through word of mouth from friends. The owner himself waits on people as well as cooking and responding to calls, yet he is friendly and personable and wants you to have the best experience possible. We had the veggie pizza and it was outstanding! My friend swears by the meatlovers as well. The garlic knots are excellent and service was prompt and friendly. We dined in since it started to downpour rain outside and it was a pleasant experience. We look forward to returning and to trying the cinnamon pecan roll! Thank you Aldo's!
