Best WLM Reviews
They were extremely helpful when I rented a cabin last week. I was delayed and they made sure everything was perfect before I arrived. Easy check in/out.
You MUST go to KAKTUS BREWING! Great beer! Great pizza- just walk out the back gate of the campground and you're there. They stayed open for me and made me the best pizza. The beer was incredible as well.
From what I saw it was a very nicely kept campground and office staff was helpful. But as soon as we walked out of our rig, management stopped us and proceeded to forget how to talk to fellow human beings. I love the KOA family and stay often and have never written a negative review until now. Andrew made sure we knew his name and that he was the manager. So I just want to make sure the owner knows Andrew may need some soft skill training.
PS Kactus Brewing next door ruled!
Road noise and lights from a nearby business all night shining into our bedroom. Wonderful staff. Bathroom older but clean. Shower curtain allow water onto the floor. Spaces between the sites are very tight (2 stars)
We so enjoy staying at this KOA! The management is absolutely amazing! Always working to improve what is already a stellar campground. Cleanest bathrooms/showers! Pool and grounds always immaculate. Staff is incredibly kind, hardworking, and helpful! Been fulltime for 5 years, and don't find this quality of campground and commitment very often! Thanks for having us!
We stayed for four nights for the balloon fiesta. The sight was pricey but expected because of the event. Our sight had a “patio” which is a bit misleading considering it’s just a patch of artificial grass that is barely big enough to fit the picnic table. No grills. No shade except for that provided by the really close RV in the adjacent site. But we weren’t unhappy until three days after we left when there was a $25 unauthorized charge to our credit card. When we asked about the charge, we were told that it was because they had to bring “special equipment” to our site to clean up dog hair. Not a good way to do business.
As many others have posted, the campground would be fine without a toxic employee named Andrew, who unfortunately happens to be the manager. Extremely unprofessional and rude.
We left a day early solely because of this individual. Hopefully after enough complaints the owner will do something about it.
Fantastic KOA! Super clean above the usual. Nice sites with an artificial grass covered patio. Trees all over. There is nice covered sitting area next to the fenced pool area. You cannot hear the freeway. The rake the rocks at each site as campers leave. We were in site PO9 which is on the end of the row - liked that a lot. Kids fun playground. Tent sites divided with wooden fence and room to park. I think this was one of the nicest KOAs we have stayed at.
Second time staying here. Safe ,secure, clean, family-oriented. Two dog parks for my furry kids. When I come to Albuquerque, this is where we stay. ????????????✨️????
