Great ambiance and service was good, average upscale bar food but the fries were amazing. For those that might not enjoy beer or be allergic; here's your warning- there's nothing other than their beer available. Surprised as not everyone drinks beer and expected at least a cider on tap or there are so many canned drinks available to sell. Also, not that it is required but no gluten free, allergy or vegetarian notations on the menu; so many food focused breweries and restaurants have these included on their menu it is surprising when they are missing.
I ate here with my elderly parents for the first time. My father and I each had a hamburger variant and my mother had the poutine.
I am not a huge hamburger guy but the itch hit me and both my father's and mine were very good and the fries were amazing.
My mothers poutine was very very good too, being neither overly salty nor greasy.
Went during the week and was easy to get a table for lunch. The staff was nice and allowed us to try a couple of 2oz beers before we made our choice. The salad was big and the tomato soup was good. French fries were a nice touch with their seasoning. Outdoor seating was a nice touch. Parking on the street or around back. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
Awesome chilaquiles, pancakes, bananas foster French toast, in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Great food enjoyed by everyone in our group, great service, comfortable facility, a great all-around find for weekend breakfast. The best compliment I can offer is that I will definitely return.
Great place! Fun atmosphere with friendly service. Fries were amazing and 100% handout as the size and thickness varied. Burger was tasty with their signature sauce.
If in Albion....
Great beer
Even BETTER food!
100% agree on the best burger in Michigan.
Poutine and Rueben routine are top of thr line!
Then peanut butter pie!
Will definitely be back!
I came in after a long road trip from Chicago. I was craving a good burger and found this place five minutes off of I-94. This brewery is located in the heart of historical Albion. At first glance, it has a modern façade both outside and inside, and it was very clean. As someone who lived in Wisconsin for some time, the cheese curds were fried well, with just the right amount of crunchy coating to cheese curd ratio. The house-made tomato sauce that it came with had a unique sun-dried tomato taste. The burger was made with a housemade bun, and that really made the ingredients stand out. There was a sweet barbecue sauce on the patty. The burger was perfectly cooked with that outside crisp that we love. The food also paired very well with their beer. Highly recommend for a roadside stop or a short weekend road trip!
Excellent burger. A little pricey but I’ll pay for good food.
