My 1st visit on July 4th was this place. It brought back so many good memories when I was in the Marines. As far as I'm concerned they have the best Carnitas Burritos!
I got the egg, cheese, and potato burrito. It was okay. The potatoes were undercooked. The cheese was not evenly spread throughout the burrito and almost all of it was it in the middle of the burrito. The burrito also lacked flavor overall. They need to cook the eggs with onions and/or tomatoes or something. Maybe they should add pico de gallo to the burrito. I don't know. But overall, 3/5 for the breakfast burrito. Will give this place another try soon and hopefully get something better.
30 min wait for our food because we wanted to eat in the patio picnic tables. Watched dozens of cars go through drive through while we sat patiently for our food. Not sure if it was worth the wait. Carnitas were a lil on the crispy side
Since we mostly love bean, rice and cheese burritos we constantly get those from everywhere we go. We probably won't be coming back here because we never have hot beans and the cheese is never melted. My three girls and myself were there 4 times last week and all the same result.
Albertos is a drive- in to pick up Mexican food & drinks. They also have a small outdoor eating area. It's tasty Mexican food, and reasonably priced. Good Customer Service, and very pleasant. Pretty big menu selection. Always enjoy their food. Try it, and I think you will enjoy it!
This place is so good. They’ve got good carneasada burritos and salsas. Got the cali burrito which was insane and just drove down to the beach in Oceanside to watch the water. Talk about perfect

Honestly the food was amazing. Went here with my friend after a long drive back home and he recommended it... Now I've been back 3 times and each time it's amazing! Carne asada fries are to die for!
Albertos in Oceanside is the spot!
This restaurant is spot on with flavors, options/entrees, and prices. It offers many authentic Mexican food dishes but with a drive-thru! That means that there are no dine-in capabilities as most patrons use the drive-thru to order their food. There is, however, a walkup window (not drive-thru) and order food and eat at their outdoor seating area.
The flavors and options at this restaurant are amazing. From the nachos, to the horchata, it is all really good. The pricing is equal to what you get in terms of portions and flavor, I overall have to say that the pricing is perfect! My biggest caveat to this place is that it can take up to 15 – 20 mins for your food to be ready once you place your order. Not a big gripe for me since I would rather them make my food at the time of order vs having food sit under a heat lamp.
Overall, if you are ever battling to choose Taco Bell or Albertos…. Go with Albertos- especially if you have the time to sit and enjoy the food.
