Went for Tits Up night thinking it was a band but was pleasantly surprised by the show. The bar staff was fast and kind. A little well lit for my favored bar experience but 5 stars for having shows in the back that are offbeat.
Oh… I will say the lady with the dildo based set should probably have her material reviewed by her peer group a little more before going in public - unfathomably terrible, even for an open mic. Hooboy ????

Portland’s Alberta Street Pub has been a fixture of life in Northeast for over 30 years, and one of the last bars on Alberta Street to have live music, besides the Alleyway. The Alberta Street Pub is a great family friendly venue that has locally sourced food options, 21 rotating taps, craft cocktails a great covered, heated patio that seats lots of people. We like to go sit on the patio and our kid plays board games. Karaoke Mondays with talented performances almost nightly, check the web site for dates and times.
The food menu is great, burger, vegan options, grilled cheese, fried chicken, Cajun fries along salads and more. Sit inside or outside and watch the people of Alberta street come and go.
Great cocktails, Mule variations, and mocktails, something for everyone.
Wonderful place, and great live music. I went for a hip hop show and had the time of my life. Great artists, everyone attending down to earth and friendly, and I can’t say enough good things about the bartenders. Very accommodating staff and nice people all around. 10/10 experience and the kitchen was open late. I recommend the lemon pepper wings ???? can’t wait to be back!
We just missed the live music which I’m sure would’ve made this 5 stars! The bar had good prices, friendly service, and okay food. If I was in the area again I’d go for drinks and live music.

If you're gonna do something do it right they say. Well Alberta Street Pub got the memo and definitely set a proper standard in all ways pub. Simple beautiful food, extensive taps, and tasty cocktails. I'm definitely glad to have been shown this little neighborhood gem!
