Loved everything about this place. Beautiful setting comfortable rooms. The view & sounds are breathtaking. General Manager was very kind and professional. She has a sense of urgency very accommodating. Breakfast was very good.
We absolutely love this place, very relaxing, quiet location, beautiful rooms, the jetted tub is the best and the comfy beds. Each little cabin is so fun. The breakfast that is delivered is really good as well. We will always come back here ????
We have been coming to this hotel for years and seen a steady decline in quality. The last stay we were placed in a freezing room where the heater didn't work, and the bathtub had a faucet that was coming out of the wall and a shower head that leaked. They moved us to a room where at least the heater was working, but there was no remote to control it so we had to just deal with the heat, the garbage can in the new room had not been emptied and there was trash on it from a previous guest. Last time we stayed there, the cabin we stayed in had wet carpets, presumably from recently being cleaned but they were not dry at all and the whole place smelled like mold. We've reached out to them twice about our issues and gotten no response.
Loved our stay. Having breakfast in the room is a fun addition, we particularly liked the hashbrowns. The grounds behind the lodge, by the river are beautiful and there are several seats where you can just sit out there and take in the beautiful river and mountain peak view! Overall just a beautiful getaway, tucked in the mountains, but also not a long drive to Ogden and many attractions and restaurants there.
Tip—If you’re staying in the main building, and you’re a light sleeper, I suggest you bring an eye mask as the windows are big and it gets light early and the curtains don’t darken the room a ton.
Stayed the night in the Old K Cabin 309.
Pro’s: Well priced for an individual private cabin. Plenty of parking. Cool mountain river location. Breakfast was AWESOME. Came on time, menu was great, even prepared my hash-browns exactly how I asked. Jetted tub worked great. We would consider staying again.
Cons: Showing it’s age/wear. Needs a bit more cleaning for carpets, behind beds, aka deep cleaning. This was the only thing that kept us from doing a 5 star.
I recently stayed at this location and it was the most amazing resort hotel experience I have ever had in my life! The staff was really amazing. The breakfast was very delicious. This place was very accommodating.

The alaskan inn was great and all their staff are amazing . They went above and beyond to accommodate for us. We celebrated my boyfriends birthday there they allowed me to decorate the room. Their breakfast was delicious. We had a great time. I will for sure book with them again
Came for an anniversary trip with partner and was disappointed. From the moment of check in it wasn’t great. We had a room mix up a different couple was checked in to our room because same last name on the reservation. But no ID was checked obviously on either reservation including ours. We were told we’d get a different room for the night and be moved to our original room next day. We got an “upgraded” room but a fan was broken and ran all night long. The wifi was terrible we turned on and used a hot spot all weekend.
Next day we felt like we couldn’t sleep in or unpack and get settled because we knew we were moving rooms. I went and looked at 2 other rooms with a member of staff was told I could have either room. Chose one and no sooner got back to the room to relocate and was told the room I picked was booked. I didn’t want the 2nd room as it smelled like dirty diapers. I asked if we could have the room we booked initially and was told yes. We could come down at noon. Came downstairs and was told we could go in but weren’t handed our key. We were given the back up key. The cabin was adorable and nice but no microwave. We went in the main lodge because we had seen online there was a microwave for guests. There wasn’t one. A member of staff said he could warm up our popcorn. He brought back unpopped bags. The breakfast room service is amazing and the jetted tubs exquisite but overall there was much to be desired. Very disappointed.
