My mother was admitted into Le Chateau in Rochelle Park a few weeks ago. She was 97 and reaching the end of her life. The nursing staff, and particularly Gloria Arthur and Andrea Bailey, were angels on earth. The care and attention my mother received from these two amazing nurses, up to her death were exemplary. Really I don't have words to thank them sufficiently. Also the receptionist, whose name I didn't catch was extremely kind and considerate. If you are looking for a place to send your loved ones to, this is it. Top notch facility, with top notch nursing staff. They obviously love what they do and it shows in the care and attention they give their charges. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
After the nurse shift changes at 7 pm, the staff is useless. My father has not been attended to for the 3 hours I have been visiting. The family and I individually paged the nurse repeatedly to change my father’s colostomy bag. The staff blatantly lies to family members about the services provided for the patients throughout the day. The staff does not practice patient care. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONES LOVED ONES.
0 stars. A referral sent by HUMC and approved for PT and OT for 86 year old dementia / Alzheimer's patient. After 4 hours, I was told she would not be treated since was not a hospital admitted patient for 3 days to the hour. Neither facilities social services took account for this incompetent mistake and she had to be taken out of the facility and own in home therapy had to be found.
Alaris truly has amazing people working there; from Urina the front desk staff, the aides, Savi and her nursing staff, dialysis center team and especially social workers Loretta and Samantha. Each of them, have wholeheartedly participated in the care and rehabilitation of my client. Loretta advocated to the insurance company on his behalf for extended time to ensure he gets the best care needed. The Alaris team also put in the effort to learn his likes and dislikes, to make his stay at the chateau a positive and healing experience! After witnessing how well my client was treated, I highly recommend Alaris at The Chateau along with the Alaris Dialysis Center.
My sister and I were extremely happy with the care our mother received. Lydia, Ralph, Jo, Rich (nursing)and everyone in PT. Activities department is good too. Everyone was very tentative to her needs as well as her roommate. Happy to have mom home and thriving. Thank you too all involved in her care. God bless you all.
If your looking for a great place for yourself or your loved one after a hospital stay this is the place! We traveled here from Central Jersey and it was really and truly worth the trip! The staff here love what they do and it shows! My mom who after a brief but devastating sudden onset illness needed specialized care. She got it and then some at The Chateau!
I cannot say enough about onsite dialysis. WOW what a game changer! The PT & OT teams are Top Notch and 7 days a week is something I've never heard of anywhere else. There are more people than I can say that deserve a big shout out of thanks but here are just a few that if you have them taking care of you, you should consider yourself lucky and blessed:
Melissa L. made the admissions process seamless and was there to welcome us with a big smile when we first arrived and every day after that as well.
Sindy the Administrator is Fantastic! She always stops to inquire as to how my mom is doing and always asks how me how I'm doing as well! This is someone who really and truly cares about her community! My mom is not a group activities kind of person so I loved it that the recreation team came to her room and engaged her in discussions and activities.
CNA Katira - WOW is all I can say about this Kind, Professional, Caring, Sweet Incredible Aide. She ALWAYS had a big smile and a kind word for my mom and popped her head in just to say hello on days when she didn't have my mom on her schedule. She is hands down THE BEST AIDE EVER!!!
I also have only great things to say about 3rd Floor Nurses Ty, Bien, Esther and the Supervisor Ritchie. This team is just INCREDIBLE! Kind, Friendly and overall fabulous human beings!!
Sarah the social worker is thorough and gently helped my mom to cope with the changes in her health status. I'm a Big Fan!
The Dialysis Administrator Melissa kept me informed and up to date on my mom at all times. Every doctor we have met has left a great impression on both my mom and myself. Dr. Manji & his NP Kristen were on top of everything, and Dr. Sharma is just WOW WOW WOW! This Doctor loves her patients, and it shows!
She shows up on the weekends just to check in and see if anyone needs anything! I wish all doctors were like this!
Even the front desk team greeted me daily with a smile. I have to say I'm a big fan of the valet parking as well. I could go on and on but suffice it to say that should we ever need their care again I wouldn't consider going anywhere else!
My mom is currently there after a partial hip replacement and since she arrived a few days ago, the staff has been nothing but wonderful!! Nurses, CNA, techs and PT staff as well!! Everyone is wonderful there! Thankful to find people with empathy that really care about others their patients!!
Very nice facility with pleasant landscaping. I visited a friend in the rehab building. He seemed quite satisfied with the care and staff. Valet parking is available as finding a spot on your own is tough. There are two buildings. One housing rehab patients, the other is a nursing facility. Each has a valet parker. Thw facility is a bit tricky to find as it's kind of tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood.
