Over all very nice. Good for either couples or family. Nicely spread out and not loud at all. A good place to have dinner and have a conversation. The service was very very good. I highly recommend the hot crab dip, amazing! Wife's steak was equally amazing, cooked perfectly to her request and my burger was good. I would recommend and would go back
The steak was not good. Steak was cooked in some sweet sauce which I was not a fan of. The baked potato was actually amazing & I highly recommend!! Potato soup, don’t get it, it was terrible. Rolls were alright. Salad was good.
Nice place! They really care about the interiors and cleanliness of the place. Didn’t have to wait long, the service was good and the food was delicious, but I felt it a bit pricey since the food is like Bennett BBQ. Other than that, if you have the chance, go for it.
Love this place. The wait wasn't long. The food was amazing. We go here every time we are in town. We had the wings and onion rings and steak taco salad, and they were oh so good. Didn't care for the fries the waitress took them away but made us pay for them anyway. We didn't eat them. I gave them a 3 because she said she was taking it off but didn't. I dont remember her name, something like Lauren she was from Jamaica. Everything else was good..
The food was fresh and flavorful. The service was great. The steak was cooked to perfection. The salad and baked potato were perfect. The only problem was that the 22oz ribeye steak was half fat, tendon, and small slivers of bone.
I am local to The Alamo and have avoided going thinking it was overrated. I've been twice in 6 months, and it has deserved 5 stars for all categories. My husband and I both ordered the ribeye. I was cooked perfectly, tender, and the flavor was amazing.
Our server was Mark and he was very attentive. He was on top of refilling drinks and pre-bussing our table- both are very important to us!

First time visit. 15-20 minute wait on a Friday night visit. Atmosphere has an old Texas vibe. Service was adequate, food was average. The Steak burger is huge; definitely a shareable item. It was good but fries were cold/bad. I would get the burger again but change out the fries. Wedge salad was good but dressing was heavy, would ask for it on the side next time. Bread was provided for free but nothing special. I would visit again but not any time soon.
This place is always a fun experience. The food is wonderful and well cooked. The service was quick and we didn't have to wait too long. They definitely moved folks through but you didn't feel rushed.
