From its unassuming exterior, I was honestly surprised by the quality of the food. I really enjoyed it and we have been eating breakfast here almost every weekend since we first visited. My only complaint is that the restaurant looks like it’s in dire need of a deep clean or fresh upgrade.
Weekend trip to White Sands for a photo shoot and wanted to try a local place for breakfast. Google recommended and it did not disappoint. The place was crowded (always a good sign in smaller towns) but the wait was still only about 10 minutes.
It was very busy but our server was still attentive. The food was delicious and well worth the price!
Pancake was phenomenal as well as the breakfast burrito.
Atmospherically, it was a little rundown but the best places always are. 10/10 would go again next time I’m in Alamogordo
Don’t let the outside sway you away from this establishment. Not the fanciest place but it does the job when food is concerned. My family ate here as our last meal in Alamogordo. They choice burgers as they had a special and I choice the green chile relleno & cheese enchilada combo plate. I’m not a meat eater so this was the best choice for me. The service was slow as there was only one waitress and maybe 1 cook.
I would say my families stomach was not a fan of the burgers. They all experienced a trip to the bathroom when we got home. Would advise letting them know how you like your food cooked.
They sell everything from breakfast items to steak. Also, they charge for fries when it comes to sandwiches. And sauce (red or green) as it relates to the burritos.
We stopped in for breakfast as we were passing through to go home. We were immediately seated. The waitress was fantastic, attentive but not hovering. I had the huevos ranchero, and my eggs were cooked perfectly. The chile was great nice kick of spice but not to hot. My husband had pancakes and bacon. The bacon was fried just how we like it, crispy but not hard as a rock. The pancakes were bigger than we thought. He enjoyed both. Definitely recommend.
We loved their Chilli Rheno Burrito smothered with green chilli ! They make everything fresh. If you are going there peak time, be prepared for a long wait. You might get lucky though and get free chips and salsa for your patience! The food will be worth waiting.
A small quaint place in Alamogordo. The food is fantastic. The huevos rancheros are the best I have ever had. Went to dinner last night, the cheese enchiladas plate with green sauce was outstanding. The staff is friendly and happy to see you. A must stop when you're in Alamogordo.
A must for visitors, you can't find another one like this. The service, food, coffee, and prices were great. The waffles were some of the best I have ever had, so good you could eat them without syrup or butter. The pictures speak for themselves, too good to leave anything.
Worst meal we've ever had here!!!! Order eggs over easy and were over done. Ordered a veggie omelet and it was scrambled eggs with veggies folded over. Sourdough toast was just warm with butter. Pancakes are almost burnt.
