The hotel staff were most awesome! From the minute we checked in, to the moment we checked out, everything was absolutely perfect. We were very pleased with the Hideaway courtyard, and we could park very near to our room. We did not need housekeeping every day, but we do like to have clean towels every day, they were very accommodating for us. Check in and check out was awesome. Very quiet for being right on a main street, and well within walking distance of the Disney parks.
We (3 adults) had a 5 day stay that was great! The location is within walking distance and near several eateries. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Fridge, coffee maker and microwave included! The staff was awesome! We were able to relax in the jacuzzi at night, then walk back to the park. Will definitely stay for a third time when I return to Disneyland!
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Honestly, I was not expecting much for the cost, but the beds were comfortable and spacious and the shower had hot water so I was happy. Plus the hotel was 1/2 a mile walking to the entrance of Disneyland and California Adventure so it's really close. Our room also had a fridge which was extremely convenient. Additionally, the AC unit cooled the room quickly which was definitely needed after a long day at Disney in the sun! Definitely would recommend if you're looking to stay near the park on a budget!
This hotel may become my regular for visiting the Disney Parks — I had a delightful one-night solo stay. For a great price, I had a safe, clean, warm, and conveniently located place to rest my feet after a long day at the theme parks. Additionally, there were plenty of FREE parking spaces, which I find to be a rare offer with most hotels. Though the walls may be thin, this was overall a very pleasant and smooth experience.
Great location, easy walk to theme parks. Loved the spacious functional room (stayed in a king bed unit). Everything was clean and functional - looked like room had been recently renovated. The free parking was a great bonus. Staff were friendly and fast, and gave us a parking pass so we could enjoy the resort area before we checked in later. Property felt safe and, although buildings are older, not run-down. A pleasant budget-friendly stay!
Wonderful in so many ways. Best location for a quick walk to Disney, great service and clean rooms.
Only downsides- finding a way to charge anything next to the bed was impossible. There is a charging station at the desk, but I personally enjoy charging my phone next to my bed at night.
Only other concern has to do with the shower. They are missing the decorative plate for the shower head spout, and have caulked in the area. It looks a bit trash, but mostly I’m concerned this will lead to long term water damage for the unit as water is clearly getting behind the walls, which can cause unseen mold.
Everything else was perfect!

We were looking for a hotel near Disneyland, but they were all so expensive we decided to give Alamo a shot which had a good rate for a 10 day stay. Reviews on TripAdvisor were good, so we thought why not?|And now I don't even know where to start! Let me just say the staff is one of the highlights of this place. I sent them countless emails with a bunch of questions before my check-in date and the staff always replied to me swift and cordially, and kept this treatment from the start of our stay til end! On arrival, I cannot described how surprised we were with how cozy and homey this hotel feels. The gardens and the trees are so inviting and the parking lot is so clean it seems a little Disneyland rubbed off on the hotel. We booked a king bedroom and we got one on the third floor and it had the essential for us: very clean and a good bed, everything else was a bonus. It was VERY spacious, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom had good space too, very different from so many hotels we had stayed with mini bathrooms. No view to the park sadly, but that's ok, the view to the hotel parking whenever we left the room for the park made up for it! And the star of the stay: Location. 15 mins walk to Downtown Disney. Being so close to Disneyland made our stay as magical as being in the parks, the street is so nice too, with all light-up trees at night, made return from the parks a nice stroll. I cannot express enough how much we loved staying at Alamo Inn, I'm afraid I might be selling it too high for everyone, but seriously, I can't recommend this hotel enough. Good price, amazing location and all the essentials for a good stay can be found here.||My only complaint would be the parking lot spaces, sometimes we had to park on a spot not meant to be a space, but that's understandable given the size of the hotel, so I let it pass.| |We can't wait to go back and when we do, we are certainly going to stay in Alamo Inn again!
Best hotel near Disney that is affordable. The room was very neat and clean. You can smell the cleanliness the minute you walk into the room. The bed was also very comfortable coming from someone that is very picky with beds. Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone I know.
