If you’re in search of a brunch, breakfast, lunch & dinner experience that offers exquisite flavors, impeccable service, and a warm ambiance, AL-Watan restaurant is the perfect choice. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with genuine smiles and promptly seated, even during a busy evening.
The menu features a delightful mix of creative dishes and timeless classics, all crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
I don't eat Indian food often, but this place was exceptional. Great service, good prompt service and delicious food. I ordered the lunch special and my wife got chicken tikki. Alot of food for a good price. Parking sucks but otherwise I highly recommend this place. Oh I forgot to mention the yummy naan.
I’ve been coming here for the last 18 years and the food quality is always consistent and service equally above par. The naan here is probably the best in the country and I always finish my meals with a cup of chai and a well done sesame naan! Their tandoor selection as well as the Sunday chicken biryani are some of my favorite things to look forward to every weekend.
Worst experience ever, on 11/16/24 we go all the way from Sacramento to LA for family trip stopped at Al watan Resturant due to google high rating.
But on the other side food was tasteless, horrible,uncooked no taste. Blood in chicken. No directly came out from freezer little warm up and then offered for eating what a ashamed
Also no one listening complains.
Zero professionalism And zero customer service. I wish to give zero star but they won’t allow me to give lower then 1.
I don’t recommend to go there waste your time and money.

Traditional pakistani restaurant, with amazing flavors and authentic taste.
This place is so authentic, that the service will actually remind you of Karachi. Slow, inattentive, and sometimes rude service.
The only Pakistani restaurant my Pakistani mother and father approve of in southern California! And I agree with them!
The service is amazing and quick. The food is absolutely incredible and authentic. A wonderful selection of dishes. The naan is always fresh and there’s a lot of varieties to pick from. By far my favorite Pakistani restaurant in SoCal!
This might be difficult review for me, I came from Japan visiting LA. Found this restaurant online as I saw best reviews.
I ordered lunch set which might be my bad choice- I should go for one dish. Kebab with lunch set was already cooked, hard. Hard to break and chew.
Chicken curry was good less portion.
Mix vegetables were not dry one.
Kheer was delicious.
Bread- nan was very delicious.
Chicken tandoori and kebab was my bad choice.
Some of the dishes are amazing & some are meh. Seekh kabab was disappointing more of a cumin explosion. The goat biryani was nothing to speak highly of either. However their karahis are excellent especially the beef karahi is a must here. The veggie dishes- Navrattan korma, aloo palak & lentil dish- daal masoor is pretty good too. The lamb pulao not pictured is also very good. Service is on the slow side.
