Volunteering in Philadelphia,
I stumbled upon this oasis in Northeast Philadelphia. Authentic traditional Halal offerings unlike anything I've ever tasted. The hot sauce is a crushed pepper ???? paste that is insane. My son and I shared this Lebanese, non-alcoholic carbonated drink whose bright bubbles provided some relief from the heat. You can dine in or take out, so we decided to relish within. The dining room is adorned with table cloths, hookahs, and delightful Mosaic lamps that pepper the walls and hang from the ceilings. Service was courteous and attentive, portions plentiful, and enough variety to satisfy your palate. AL-Sham restaurant also caters.

Loved this place. I met the owner and he mentioned they have 6 locations. The food was excellent and the had a huge menu.
I got a Chicken Shawarma. It was really good. I recommend you order your food ahead of time. Their prices are on the pricey side. Not the food but the taxes. For example the lunch special that’s displayed on the poster when you walk in. 2 sandwiches with a fríe $9.99 after taxes I came to $21 and some change. How and why is taxes the same price as a meal. Other than that unanswered question the food is good.
I recently dined at Al Sham and was absolutely delighted with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for an enjoyable meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations.The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and authentically prepared. The use of high-quality halal ingredients was evident in each bite, making the meal both delicious and satisfying. I particularly loved the Lamb Shwarma, which was a perfect blend of spices and textures.
The food was amazing, large portions, and so beautiful. The dining area was very warm and inviting. They even had a small area for pray behind a screen. Alhamdulillah. I loved everything! May Allah continue to bless your business with much success, Aameen.
The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time, the food is delicious, I love this place they gained a loyal Customer. I highly recommend this business.
The first of all this restaurant doesn’t have restrooms no restrooms at all,no sink for washing your hands ,no sanitizer,you should take your food from the counter and serve your family, prices are so high opposite to the service and amount of meal,no parking except of the friendly cashier this store is not recommended for family at all
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious, but the price is very reasonable compared to their high-quality food and overall service. The staff is super friendly and polite.
I do not eat meat which makes it very hard to find a good restaurant with an extensive selection of vegetarian dishes.
Therefore, I find this restaurant a great place for vegetarians and, of course, if you're a meat lover.
My favorite dishes are:
- Grilled salmon with brown rice
- Vegetarian omelet
- Greek vegetarian pizza.
