I wanted to try Tamil food near Al Kout Mall as was visiting Kuwait. So I googled and found this Al Safi Thrichy Restuarant very close to where I was staying (Hyatt) but most of the reviews reported very bad & rude customer service and also very unhygienic. So I was very reluctant to go so went around to see it. The place wasn't as bad as it sounded so went in to have lunch(fish meals). I didn't find anyone rude infact the service was very nice when I asked for regular rice instead of Basmati rice which was served in the meals they immediately brought me regular rice and asked me to leave the Basmati rice aside, since I didn't want to waste it i used the regular rice for my second serving.
Again I went for evening to have dinner and had dosai, the service was good.
Food was quality & taste was what one can expect from a regular restaurant.
You can't expect Saravana Bhavan or Anjappar level atmosphere for the price you pay.
Ofcourse I wouldn't advice it for frailly visit, but it is ok if you're alone and want to have Tamilnadu food.

Good Tamilian restaurant. Friday Briyani is a must try one.
This was one of my ever favourite restaurants because of the taste of the food. But unfortunately, the service is very very poor. You can even see such humble staff in a collector's office. The staffs won't serve you in a good manner. If this had minus marks, I would have selected that. The staffs behaviour is like you are a burden for them.
Best biryani in world for me. Amazing biryani not heavy on stomach and purse. Less spice and oil they serve typical Trichy style biryani with sambar of raw banana, brinjal or mango. Amazing combo and you have many other choices to eat but I loved biryani.
Value for money. Fish 95, a must try. Other dishes are also good and reasonable.
Briyani on any given day is good. However
Never order chicken 65. You will always receive it Cold!
Low level restaurant and not suitable for Family.
The worst biryani I ever had. They are using the cheapest rice which gives a bitter taste while eating. No hygenic.
I recommend not to go this hotel and don't spoil your health.
