Best WLM Reviews
First time here. Got the number 5. It came with two sandwiches. The girl behind the counter allowed me to pick different spice levels. I got one hot sandwich and one extra hot. The hot one was enjoyable. The extra hot was too much for me. Had to down a whole cup of soda. The difference between the hot and extra hot is significant. All food came out hot, except the coleslaw, of course. But it took over 15 minutes. So, service is slow even though there was only one other order before me. They also waited about the same amount of time. The seating area is pretty bare and could be cleaner. I had to move tables twice as they were sticky. Overall, the food was good. But i would stop at the hot level and not go higher. I had a bit of a stomach ache upon return to the house from the extra hot sandwich. That wont stop me from going again though. Food is tasty. Halal too.
I recently visited a halal fried chicken restaurant and was blown away by their seasoning and spice. The spice levels are no joke—thankfully, they offer milkshakes and other drink options to cool down! Even though I usually handle spice well, their extra hot “No. 5” level had me reaching for a milkshake. Despite the intense heat, the food was fantastic. The sauce on the sandwich was flavorful, and the fries were perfectly complemented by a generous serving of chicken and sauce, making for a great combination. The mac and cheese was also delicious.
The seating area is comfortable, though it does get a bit warm in the summer due to the kitchen’s heat. I appreciate the variety of seating options available. Another convenient feature is the self-service ordering kiosk in front of the cash register.
Overall, I highly recommend checking them out for a tasty and spicy meal!
I visited this place with a friend to give it a try. I ordered the #4 combo, which included a tender, a sandwich, fries, and a drink, while my friend opted for just the tender and fries.
In hindsight, I should have gone with just the tender and fries as well. The tender and sandwich were essentially the same, with the tender served on a piece of white bread and the sandwich on a bun with coleslaw. There was no difference between the chicken patty in the sandwich and the tender.
I ordered the medium spice level, but it wasn't hot at all. Surprisingly, the ketchup added more spice than the chicken itself. The chicken was quite messy, staining my fingers for a while, although the spice didn't seem to linger. The cheese on my sandwich was more like nacho sauce.
The fries, however, were excellent—crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside.
My meal cost $17, which seemed steep for decent chicken. It could have been shared between two people, making it a bit more reasonable. While the food was good, I'm not sure it was worth $17.
On the positive side, there was plenty of parking, the employees were super nice, and the restaurant was very clean.
Been coming for over a year and have been through the change.
Overall, everything is still great! The chicken is flavorful and juicy.
Atmosphere is just your typical fast food dining area, plenty of seating.
If you ever are in the area it’s worth stopping by for.
B's Hot Chicken review. I saw the mixed reviews recently, and went today to see how it is since the rebrand. Dined in with sandwiches and tender, spice level 3 Medium. We thought it was very delicious!
First off, they must have read the reviews of people disliking the lack of seasoning on the fries, because our fries were seasoned! Crispy, non-greasy, delicious! The chicken was crisp, well seasoned and the meat was juicy and tender. The medium was a pleasant heat, perfect for me. Sauce was tasty, too. I don't miss the items they took away in the rebranding.
My partner and I liked Al's a lot, but B's is cleaner and the sandwiches are less messy to eat (possibly less coleslaw than before?). The kitchen seemed less chaotic too. We're glad it's still as good as before, maybe slightly better due to the above points.
I gave 3 stars for atmosphere because it's a typical fast food vibe. But it's not negative, just average. I like the natural lighting and the air conditioner was very nice on this hot day.
This is a true restaurant staple. The chicken is tender and juicy. The waffles are good. The fries are crispy and crunchy. With the sauces, Al’s Hot Sauce. Oh, Al’s Hot Sauce. It’s perfectly great with its succulent flavor. The staff are friendly. The ambience is great. Not too loud or quiet. The milkshakes? I haven’t had all of them yet. But the chocolate shake was pretty mid. Would highly recommend.
Food was great I had the loaded frie's, if ur not in to ???? ???? food stay under medium spice level... you'll thank me later
“Josh provided excellent service during my visit! He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. His professionalism and positive attitude truly enhanced my dining experience. Highly recommend!”
