Food was fast because the hamburger meat was raw . Waitress had a problem when requesting for a cup to go. It was so overwhelming for her and refused to bring one, but she brought refills for others at the table, spend your money elsewhere. Smells like a grease trap in there, expect to leave with your clothes smelling like frying grease. In regards to your response, when an establishment gives good service a great tip is given. I even write letters and call the establishment to let them know how good they were, you do not deserve that. Your waitress rolled her eyes, I asked her for a cup of water with my coffee, never brought it, I did not complain, I let it go, but when she rolled her eyes when I asked for a cup to go I knew she was disgruntled, don't worry, I still left her a tip. Here's a picture of your raw meat. She did not even ask any of us how we wanted our meat cooked. You need to do better. Don't worry I will not be returning ever! I also looked at your reviews and other customers agree! P.S. it was a cup.to go for my coffee, remember? She never brought me water in a cup to go!
I can't believe I've never been here, I've lived in this area forever & this was the first time I step foot in Al's Hamburgers.
Staff was so polite, I am not sure who the girl was that greeted me as I walked in but as I made my way toward my friends she took my drink order... she wasn't even our waitress. Ms. Betty was our waitress. She arrived to take my drink order promptly as the other young lady was bringing my drink, great teamwork! Ms. Betty checked in on us just often throughout our time there & wasn't overbearing... she was superb!
Apparently my friends go here often, I asked what they recommend & they said there hasn't been anything they didn't like. The only thing they said was that the fries were so-so. I ordered a cheeseburger with onions rings, it was a good choice.
Wonderful service, great tasting food that comes out quickly, clean establishment with affordable prices!
Landmark of smash burgers, but today's surprise was that I got to try the best chili I ever tasted in my whole life, no joke. Real chili no beans, God bless Texas. And dessert highly recommend, great place, great experience and superb food and service
Literally been coming here for two decades and even after the location changed everything has been absolutely wonderful. They provide a Time Machine to a Texas diner experience that for me is priceless. Great staff. Honestly if they ever get upset it makes it makes me feel even more at home. All in all, I love this place, go there at lest once. For me. Especially you, who read this. Did anyone ready this??
Wow! What a satisfying burger ????! I am visiting from out of town (Austin) and Al’s is a new favorite for me! The tots and onion rings were crispy and I ordered a Double Double “all the way”. Omg. This took me back to childhood and our waitress Donna was so welcoming and so good at her job. I felt like I was with family from the moment I walked in, then I ate a meal so good I could hardly keep my “Mmmmms!” to myself. At 2pm there was no wait which only added to the magic. Do yourself a favor and try this classic treasure this week. I know I’ll be back!
Passed by so many times and finally decided to give them a try. Very friendly staff and their burgers are delicious.
Super service! Food was fresh and fast out to table! Had the double cheeseburger & fries. Classic. Did not disappoint. A+
Donna was our waitress and she was lovely and personable. She took our order quickly and brought out our food just as quick and they were busy. I had the BLT with fries and my husband had the Patty Melt with chips. The whole meal was good except the fries were overcooked and bland.
But all in all it was good, we will definitely be coming back.
