Absolutely phenomenal sandwich. Bacon, egg and cheese on a long roll. I added a side order of hashbrowns to it. Tastes great and fresh. Portion size is amazing too, absolutely loaded with egg and bacon. Used to get Al’s after school frequently back in the day, almost forgot how good they are.
I've been coming to Al's deli for years. The food is always fresh and the breakfast and lunch items available are reasonably priced. They also do catering treys for different events. I rarely rave about a deli but they deserve it. Not sure you can call them a hidden gem but they are worth the stop for sure.
Stopped by to get some cheese also up this small pasta salad meat and not gonna lie is A1 just like I like it ????
The best food in the area & items are reasonably priced. Baked goodies are made daily & are very delicious.. You might have to park and walk since its usually no open spots directly in front of the place but it's well worth it. Thus is my go to market for all goods .. you can even play the lottery here. JACKPOT!!
The absolute best place for lunch meat. Fresher than the super market. I don't know what we are going to do once they move to Southampton.
UPDATE - The other day we tried another Pork Roll and Egg on a roll and THE Pork Roll was undercooked! How do you take almost 15 minutes to make an order and NOT cook it Properly! If you keep doing this then you will be going out of business soon! Very disappointed. We've been coming here for over 20 years weekly. Our order today of the Smalll Pork Roll and Egg Without Cheese THAT last week was $5.50 is now $6.00 plus tax! When I asked the older female checkout person why it's now $6.00 she just shook her head and said "I'm not gonna say nothing". If you're going to raise your prices then you shouldn't lower the amount of food in the sandwich. A small pork roll and egg without cheese for almost $7.00 NOW! No thanks you just lost our business after 20 plus years. *UPDATE. Half Of The Refrigerated Deli counter has been broken and empty for almost a month. The original owner's would have Never let it get that long. It is an embarrassment and a slap in the face to their great name, not to mention it shows the new owners don't care about their customers convenience.
Different Cheesesteak #905. I have been waiting to try Al’s. Big operation. 10 am and at least 10 other people waiting for sandwiches. Big operation. Salads and deli stuff looked amazing. The cheesesteak was $8 and it is a corner deli. Very Good corner store cheesesteak. Very good balance, mix and amount of cheese, fried onions and mushrooms.
Hoagie was disappointing, took a large hunk of sliced ham folded it over and put it on the roll. Also onions were large thick chunks rather than thinly sliced onion and lastly not well seasoned.
