Best WLM Reviews
Al Masgoof is a great spot for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. The food is good, perfectly seasoned, fresh fish cooked to perfection and a variety of delicious traditional dishes.
The staff is friendly and attentive, every meal feels like a true taste of home-cooked Iraqi food.
The worst restaurant I have ever tried in my life. I came from another state. I drove 12 hours and was looking for a place to eat grilled fish. I found this bad restaurant. She entered and told me that the fish takes an hour to cook. I told her there is no problem. I will wait. Take your time. At this time, she brought us glasses to drink water. The cups had a very disgusting fish smell. I asked her to change them and she brought me plastic cups and there was also something black in them. She brought me the plates and they were also dirty and had a bad smell. She brought us the fish in just 20 minutes and she told me it would take an hour to cook. I was very surprised. She cut the fish and put it in. There were pieces of fish on my family’s plates. When we started eating, the fish was burnt on the outside and not cooked well on the inside. It was very soft and all watery, and there was no taste, no salt, or any kind of spice. I spoke to the employee with all respect and told her that I did not like it. A worker came out of the kitchen and started. He talks to me in a very bad and violent way, and he starts discussing with me in a very offensive way. My message to the restaurant owner: Check with your workers, whom you put your trust in and handed over your restaurant to, and tell them to be gentler in their manner, because if they remain like this, you will not find any customers with you over time.
If you want to have fresh fish, clean, and friendly service then you have to try this place. I was craving grilled fish, my friend invited me to Al Masgoof. The restaurant is sparkling clean and you don’t smell any cooking or fishy smell. The fish is alive in water tank. They serve amazing starters with freshly baked bread straight from the oven to the table. I will definitely go back again.
Al Masgoof Grill is a treasure trove for anyone seeking exceptionally fresh and flavorful fish. The dining experience here was a delightful surprise, reminiscent of the best fish I've had since leaving Iraq two decades ago.
The freshness of the fish served at Al Masgoof Grill is unmatched. Each bite was a testament to the quality and care put into selecting the ingredients. The taste was simply sublime, evoking memories of the delicious flavors I cherished from my time in Iraq.
What truly enhanced this dining experience was the exceptional service from the staff. Their warmth and genuine hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal, making it a memorable occasion.
For anyone craving the authentic taste of impeccably prepared fish or longing for a reminiscent culinary journey, Al Masgoof Grill is a must-visit. The dedication to serving the finest quality fish, coupled with the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service, makes it stand out as an extraordinary dining destination. Highly recommended for a taste that transcends time and distance!
We have been hearing a lot about this restaurant so we had to try it. Over all was good experience. The service lady was very helpful and friendly (not normally as arab restaurant). The atmosphere was good. And lastly the food. It wasn’t as we expected it to be but over was fine. The salad we ordered wasn’t really good. Over all i would recommend it.
Very open area it’s not crowded, food is very delicious! Nicest workers, I’ve known them for over 8 years and they completely remodeled the place they talk in a nice manner and the Iraqi food makes me remember my life in Iraq. The fish is grilled on wood and it’s my favorite restaurant
If you are looking for FRESH, tasty and inexpensive food... THIS IS YOUR PLACE! I normally never leave reviews but this deserves more than 5 stars. The service was amazing, plenty of room to park and a great environment for a family meal or by yourself. The chicken is juicy, greatly seasoned beef and the fish is amazing. The wait is not long for food and drink orders are at the table less than a minute.
10/10.
This is the worst place I ever had been, I placed an order of Masgoof fish and came all burnt out like charcoal and the manger is screaming and arguing with me that this is how they make good food. If I could give zero stars to this place I would do so. WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE AND EAT. This place is has ZERO FOOD TASTE. And here is the proof, the manager/cook was being very rude too. Nobody puts sauce on Iraqi Masgoof, appetizers were bland, the kabob and tikka were so chewy, nothing was good in this place except the server, Melan, he was very cool and apologetic for the bad experience we had.
