The teenager and I wanted some Italian yummy food, so we decided to try al dente in FORT WORTH. The place was small but the service was amazing. The food was delicious. The bread was phenomenal. The teenager had fettuccine Alfredo. I had fettuccine Primavera and it was all very very yummy. Highly recommended as always. please support your local businesses. And this is bring bring your own drink and they will help you with the glasses and the service.
Had a great meal here and the server was so attentive. I had read some reviews regarding bad service, but didn’t experience that at all. The server was wonderful, and went above and beyond for someone who placed a to go order - offering to text him once his food was ready so he could go next door for a drink (it’s BYOB here, they don’t serve alcohol). The food was well prepared and delicious.
Came in with friends after a long day of conventions. The food was pretty good and decently priced as well, it’s just that the portions were quite small. Maybe I’m just a hungry man but the entree wasn’t able to make me full. It’s quite a small place and would recommend you to call in early to reserve seats if you’re coming in with a large group of people.
As others noted, food portions are small for price. Our garlic knots were undercooked in the center. Our hostess/server appeared to be annoyed to have customers the moment we entered. We were the only customers there our entire dinner on a Saturday evening. Overall, I would not return or recommend.
I was headed to another Italian restaurant near the hotel I was staying in Downtown. I saw Al Dente on my way and decided to give it a try. It was much closer, and we've had a really hot summer. But, I digress. I'm glad I made the pivot! I had the Pasta Simplice. I added shrimp for an extre charge. It was AMAZING. I will absolutely return and tell everyone I know to check out this charming, family owned home cooked Italian specialties!! Don't miss out on a great, affordable, delicioso meal! I really can't wait to go back with my best friend!
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered a focaccia and Drew, the server suggested a salad to go with the focaccia. She was right. It was delicious. The ravioli was rich and creamy. The tiramisu was heavenly. The portions are generous and you’ll want to move to Italy after visiting this place!!
Wife and I really enjoyed our dinner, not the best Italian I have ever had but it is up there.
We tried this spot for the first time Friday nightwith hopes to enjoy some delicious Italian food. It was within walking distance from our hotel last night. I was very disappointed with the experience and food taste. My chicken parm was a few pieces of bland sliced chicken on spaghetti with awful sauce. I could not eat it even after trying to doctor it up with pepper and parmesan cheese. The garlic knots tasted like they had freezer burn and served with cold marinara sauce. My husband said his spaghetti and meatballs were subpar.
