Best WLM Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of dining at AL Basha Mediterranean Cuisine in Chicago, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. My server, Warda, truly went above and beyond in every aspect of her service. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making me feel welcome and well cared for throughout my meal.
The food arrived quickly and was served at the perfect temperature, highlighting the kitchen's efficiency and attention to detail. Every dish was a delight, bursting with flavor. The chicken, in particular, was seasoned to perfection, showcasing the authentic and rich flavors of Mediterranean cuisine.
Portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. Every bite was a testament to the quality and skill of the chefs. Among all the restaurants I visited during my trip to Chicago, AL Basha stood out as the best. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with superb food and exceptional service.
Food was excellent, the starters came plentiful and bread was served warm and fresh. Meat was juicy and tender. Rice was 9.5/10. The service was very knowledgeable and patient. Only thing I would recommend to stay away from is the hot sauce. It’s insanely hott and this is coming from a Pakistani person who indulges in spices from around the world. This stuff can probably burn through steel. ????????????
For being a first time here we really loved it.The food was so delicious high quality and they hook you up. Big portions, everything is fresh. Grilled with so much flavor. I loved that the meat had no fat and the food came fast. The service was amazing. Rosa the server was so sweet. Gave us some freebies. Food prices are reasonable for what you get. Got a 2 meal platter that had different meats and rice which fead like 5 people. Was worth every dime. I highly recommended it. And will definitely be back and take my family and friends. It's a family friendly place with lots of space and parking. No wait time either.
We had a pickup order of the mensaf and stuffed grape leaves and never in my life have I tasted such great authentic food like this and made with perfection as well as a good generous amount of food. My family enjoyed it. The customer service was outstanding and a wonderful staff . We do recommend Al Basha Restaurant to our friends, workers, and everyone else. I Will definitely be back again!
Thank you for the wonderful food. My husband and I had dinner there for our wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed it. The service was fantastic and the menu was so easy to read. The food we ordered arrived at your table very quick and the. food portions were large. It was delicious and in fact the best we had in a long time. I would recommend the sage tea if you like herbal teas. They do have mint tea as well. Totally worth it. Thank you again.
Been dining here for many years. They always do a great job. Food is always delicious and consistent. The mixed grill (mashawee) is my favorite! Falafels are also up there! The dining area is a bit dated and could use some updating, nevertheless still clean and comfortable.
I would do more than 5 stars for service, if available.
Food was awesome. Portions LARGE.
This place was totally beyond my expectations it is a hidden gem I'm so glad I found it. I'm a Falafel lover and this place makes the best falafel in all of Chicago. I literally tried the falafel in every Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant and this is the number ONE. The rest of the food was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. I'd like to mention that they have really good customer service and the restaurant and restrooms are clean. I will definitely come back.
