Best WLM Reviews
I haven’t eaten more than a few bites of my food and I had to come write a review, this place is amazing. Some of the best Arab food I’ve had in years (and I’ve lived in the Middle East). From the moment we walked in everyone was kind and welcoming, they were generous in treating us to extra goodies since it was our first time visiting, true to Muslim hospitality. I love it here and think everyone visiting Chicago should make the trip out.
Beautiful atmosphere staff was friendly and inviting food. Had lots of flavor came out really fast my biryani was a little cold. Dessert was amazing. Really rich cake huge selection over all a beautiful place.
Sensational cultural immersive interior!!
A combo of middle eastern grilled foods and south Asian food. Some items are over the top and some average—- overall it’s a great place.
We ordered the mixed grill and it was more than enough for 2. It came with a side of garlic dip, tahini sauce and excellent hummus/baba ghannoush with fresh bread. We also ordered grape leaves (ok but not great: 8 pieces in order)
Prices range between average and slightly above average. Main courses have generous portions.
For those with nut or pistachio allergies, please be cautious as middle eastern meals (including rice) include almonds at time pine nuts and pistachio.
This was my first time visiting Al Badia when I first walked in, I was welcome by all the staff with smiles on their face, amazing attitude vibe and the spirit in the restaurant was amazing. The food was top notch. Amazing selection in the buffet. They have a lot of variety of different foods. All of them were good and amazing. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will be back soon. Thank you to Abu Ali he was amazing and very friendly and respectful thank you so much!
Food quality always changes with shawarma sandwiches hit and miss, Pakistani food selection is delicious and appetizing, ambiance is very attractive inside, rice portions provided with main dish is very skimpy.
The best meal we had during our mini-vacay in Chicago. Tuesday evening, three of my daughters and I came here for the first time. We were visiting from St. Louis. I wanted to take them out for middle eastern food and their menu checked all the boxes.
We ordered a variety of food, including mutton biriyani, butter chicken, tikka masala, chicken shawarma hummus, falafel, kanafe, and chai tea. We enjoyed every single dish. The flavors, salt, spice level, temperature, presentation, service, atmosphere, and welcoming staff exceeded my expectations. Even my pickiest eater had nothing but praise for the flavors. Their portions were ridiculously huge. So we packed everything up, put it in a cooler with ice and took it home.
Highly recommend!
Mr. Cheema is the niche of this restaurant. Outstanding Hospitality by him. Great blend of 3 restaurants. My only recommendation will be to increase the Spice Level for the Pakistani Food or give an option to do so.
Food was very fresh and cooked perfectly! Staff was very friendly and helpful. They host parties for Up to 85 people as well.
