I recently had the pleasure of trying falafel that truly hit the mark. The exterior was perfectly crispy, offering a satisfying crunch with every bite, while the inside remained soft, flavorful, and full of the right spices. It was the kind of dish that makes you eager to explore what else the menu has to offer. If their falafel is this good, I can't wait to try the other options they have out there. Highly recommended!
This place is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. From the outside I would categorize this place as a hole in the wall. I love finding these kind of places. In my experience these places are the best. This time was indeed one of the best! The place was very clean and neat. Friendly greetings when you walk in. A good size menu to select from. Ordered the beef/lamb gyro plate. Ugh the meat was amazing! I loved how some pieces were crunchy. Every bite was full of flavor. Their hot sauce was so delicious I was pouring it on my plate. Of course to top it off I had the pistachio baklava. It didn’t disappoint at all. Pistachio is my favorite version of baklava. This is a new top recommendation if you are ever interested in Mediterranean food! I’ll be back and I’ll probably order for delivery even sooner! Get over there and you’ll see what I mean. It’s so good I forgot to take photos before I devoured it!! lol
We placed an order for our family and guests. It had lamb gyro plate, chicken gyro plate, falafel sandwich, chicken shawarma and lamb shawarma. The food was delicious but the delivery of food took an hour. Forgot to take pictures of other items as we were starving and ate the food as it arrived
This place deserves a big zero. Despite its name, it is far from a Middle Eastern establishment.
1. The Mexican staff were extremely disrespectful. They forgot our order and didn’t even bother to apologize. Their behavior was shameful and indicated poor upbringing.
2. Homeless people walked in and out freely, using the cups and making the environment uncomfortable.
3. The place was very dirty. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority.
4. The air conditioning was not working, making the experience even more unpleasant.
5. To reiterate, the staff were very rude and disrespectful throughout our visit.
Do yourself a favor and find comfort elsewhere. Avoid this place at all costs.
Went to Al Bacha Restaurant for the first time to try their yummy gyros ????. First of all, the smell of the restaurant is like so tantalizing lol! It was like, “come to me and we will feed you” kind of smell lol! I ordered the gyro combo meal. The meal comes with fries and a soda. It was super super delicious ????! The fries were super flavorful and crispy, just the way I love it ????! Highly recommended! Love love love it ????
Ordered once and thought about it for a week so I had to go again. Take out is super easy if you order ahead online. Always ready when you walk in. Greek fries and baklava are a must for any order. Gyros are stuffed to the max. Price point is very fair. Friendly staff too.
After hunting Capitol Hill for some Mediterranean food, I landed to this place. Their chicken shawarma was really flavorful, Loved eating it. Service was quick & this outlet also has Mexican food items as well.
Stopped by this little gem in Capitol Hill after a long day looking for a quick bite to eat. I love Greek/Mediterranean food so I was pretty excited. I got the Deluxe Plate, which includes the gyro lamb & beef and chicken. The meats are tender and well-seasoned and the sauce on top is great as well. Rice was fluffy with good flavor. Nothing was overly greasy and the salad on the side was refreshing with tons of feta. The hummus is also really good with a drizzle of olive oil. Pita bread was well toasted and soft.
If you have time, I recommend dine-in just so you can eat everything fresh. I waited less than 10 minutes. Would definitely go back!
